Great Location at a Great Price

Wonderful hotel with beautiful views of the bay. Rooms are comfortable clean and spacious at very reasonable rates. All the staff are kind courteous helpful and great you with a smile. Loren at the front desk was very helpful and spoke english well.

Excellent.

Fabulous hotel. Great location right at Marina. Superb facilities. Great food. Wonderful views. Staff very friendly and courteous. Rooms are lovely. We had a superior room with Marina views. All rooms face the same way but the pool view ones are more internal facing. Can’t fault this hotel at all.

My overall stay was excellent. I travel quite a bit and my focus has always been on service and friendliness of hotel staff. The staff was great and one member (Melicio-Liz) stood out and was exceptional. She was very courteous and helpful of my needs whether it was early in the morning or late at night! I will definitely book Ouril Hotel on my next visit to Sao Vicente.

Fine hotel, but depends on your room.

The hotel is fine if you have a room from the 3rd floor or higher. We had a room on the 4th floor the week before and that was fine, but this time room 105 and that was very bad. In addition the shower and the sink were almost clogged and it was always wet around the toilet. Some of the persons in the reception are not very service minded and little flexible. The food in the restaurant was very good.

The staff was extremely helpful, but probably underpaid. There was no hot water, only warm water. The combined ramp and stairs are treacherous and would be illegal in many countries. There are no railings, no curb on the ramp and everything is gray. When you walk from The lobby into bright sunshine, it’s treacherous I fell down six or seven stairs.

The property says there is parking but it’s just regular street parking. When I went I asked if I can park my car in the garage and they told me garage was not open yet but yet there was car parked there. As the front desk told me parking is only for the owner which didn’t make sense why advertise it for the customer if the customers can’t use it. Other than that hotel was really nice breakfast was a 10/10 and you are close to everything. Housekeeper can do a little better because everything they cleaned our rooms we never had towels always had to call to ask.. other than that this hotel is worth staying
