"Excellent location right in the centre by the seafront . Enormous 2 bed flat , fully equipped. Staff onsight to check you in. Beds very firm good for me but not everyone s comfort. Needed more than one fan didn't ask if could have more as weather just becoming hot as left. The warning of very late night , very early morning noise , music, talking, putting away and setting out restaurants was accurate, so we expected it. We took ear plugs, and managed most nights but if you struggle with getting...

"Gerardo was an amazing host. He responded quickly to any questions. The apartment was comfortable, very clean, well equipped and well maintained. A 5 minute walk to a bus stop where you could take a number of buses that would take you downtown. Or if you chose to walk a 20 minute walk to the Farmers Market. From the living room or front bedroom there was a beautiful view of the harbour and comings and goings of the cruise ships. "

"Rental unit is located above a busy and loud shopping mall. So if you want a quieter place x this isn’t it. We were here only 3 nights and the in-unit washer broke on first use. Someone came to fix it the next day, but upon second use it broke again. We ended coming back and fixing it ourselves, YouTube to the rescue. Got our clothes out soaking wet and had to mop up the kitchen too. If you like to DIY around the house, stay here. "

"Perfect sized apartment for a long term stay. Proper and updated kitchen, supplied with everything you need. Beautiful bathroom, great water pressure. Lovely apartments fronting a park. Fun to watch the dogs play. Walking distance from shopping and restaurants, great massages around the corner with Luis at Fit Cryology. Wonderful balcony. It does get very very hot in the afternoons, so I would advise a fan. Loved it. Miss it already."

"The location is probably the only thing that is worth mentioning. The building is very old and everything is the department is poorly maintained. There a a few restaurants right underneath and you will be bathed with cooking smells pretty much 24x7 (we were on the 6th floor and can’t imaging how much worse on lower floors). Parking is ridiculous and you need a lot of help from your friends to get in and out. "

"Nice small but cozy room, own kitchen and bathroom. The owner gave us some usefull tips and was overall really sweet. Its quite far from the center if you decide to walk and also the road is really steep. "

"Very nice rustic house,with everything you need.I had no car,but cafe,shops,farmaci,hotel,church are in walking distance.And bus is very conveniant,much used by the locals. Maria,the landlady,came with bananas and potatoes from the backyard,always there to help you. First time in Madeira,but not the last,strange place."
