"Best place to stay in Moyogalpa for a peaceful and quiet time. Located just east of the main area of town, the hotel offers simple but comfortable rooms with strong aircon, a refreshing pool, and a large area for breakfast. Staff were always polite and responsive. Great jumping point to some cool sights, restaurants, and basic amenities. Would recommend renting a motorcycle for your trip (free hotel parking) to enjoy freedom to explore the beautiful island of Ometepe. Would defintely stay here again!"

Totoco Eco Resort

10/10 Excellent
"Property is beautiful, staff is very friendly and helpful. Food and drinks were delicious! the infinity pool looks different on pictures definitely not an infinity pool. The view was breathtaking, worth the drive up the steep mountain, I highly recommend to check in early so you know where you’re going as the drive way is all rugged and ruff. I wasn’t advised that we needed a 4X4 or taller vehicle in order to go up, with out scraping the rocks or boulders. So I had to ask them to help me find a driver to take us up to the hotel. I had to pay an extra fee for a driver to take us up and scheduled him to bring us back down otherwise we wouldn’t have been able to get there and loose our room. And we had to pay for parking to keep our rental in a safe place overnight."

Cabañas el Manantial

Cabañas el Manantial

10/10 Excellent
"The place is beautiful, and the sights are amazing. I especially loved the incredible view of the volcano. However, what I didn’t like was the bathroom. The electrical box is placed in a location where, every time we take a shower, the handle gives us an electric shock. This is very concerning and should be addressed for the safety of the guests. The place is beautiful, and the views are amazing. I especially loved the beautiful view of the volcano. However, there is a serious safety concern with the bathroom. The electrical panel and electrical wiring are installed inside the bathroom, very close to the shower. Every time we took a shower, we could feel electricity coming through the shower handle. This was very concerning and made us feel unsafe. I strongly recommend that the electrical system be inspected and repaired by a qualified electrician before other guests use the bathroom. For your safety, I would avoid using that shower until the electrical issue has been checked. Feeling electricity through a shower fixture can indicate a dangerous electrical fault."
