The building is beautiful and well-maintained. Breakfast was plentiful with a good variety. While some might see the lack of in-room WiFi as a negative, this was a good reminder to get out of the room and explore the beautiful and unique town that surrounds it. It was easy to pull up in front to drop off and pick up luggage and it is just a few minutes from the municipal parking lot. Kein Aufzug. Knarzende Dielen. Das Frühstück im Pavillon-Anbau umfangreich. Aber Haus ist sehr hellhörig! Durch die Bodendielen im Zimmer konnte ich ins Zimmer darunter sehen, das Licht von unten störte sehr, in den Dielen waren auch Splitter von über 10cm lose und kamen heraus, wenn man mit den Socken hängen blieb - echt gefährlich. An das winzige Fenster im Dach konnte man nur kommen, wenn man abenteuerlich über Stuhl und Bett hochkletterte, sich an die Wand klammerte, eine Zumutung für ältere Gäste. Im Bad gar keine Entlüftung. Matraze war sehr weich, wurde nach einer Anfrage ausgetauscht, etwas besser, aber immer noch weich. Drei Sterne-Bewertung? This former castle has a number of practical challenges in serving as a hotel. The hotel Is on a Main Street so even though mostly traveled by foot, the noise is pronounced in the rooms.
