Sauber & absolut zentral gelegen
Nice place to stay and brilliant for exploring Santiago

Excellent stay at the property. Silvia and Rita were helpful and courteous. Although I felt very independent and free, it felt like being at home. Location is ideal for everything you want to do in Santiago. The food market is literally a block away. Don't miss it. The food is amazing!!!!
This is one of the best value hotels I have ever stayed at. It's bright and airy and the host leaves herbal teas and cake out for you to snack on. The breakfast is cold buffet but perfectly enough to fill up. Closer to train station than bus station and right next to old town entrance

Plaza Galicia gem
A friendly and well run small hotel ideal for all forms of budget traveller and families in excellent position in the Plaza Galicia on the edge of the old town (10 min walk to both the Cathedral and the main station) bus stops for airport and main bus station immediately outside. Can be noisy on weekend nights (where in Santiago isn't?), rooms and bathrooms are small but there is a good Spanish breakfast in a room which can be used for own meals all day.
i was absolutely delighted with my room at Pensión Mafer, it was light and airy with the huge window that looked out over Praza de Galicia. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I just wish I'd known about this place before as I would have stayed the previous nights as well.
The bed was very comfortable and I had a great nights sleep.
This pensión is very well located for exploring the old town and also the nearby shopping streets.
I can't comment on breakfast as I don't eat that but there was coffee/tea available at all times if required.
For a single person this was just right. Walking distance to the cathedral, the rail station and to a good laundromat, a small but charming room with bath. Also included a communal sitting/breakfast room with coffee or tea and snacks any time. An excellent value!
We were moved to another hotel nearby because they said our room had a problem. They were friendly and nice, but it was inconvenient especially after big camino walk.
The reception staff were the most helpful and friendly I've ever met in all my years of travelling. They simply couldn't do enough for me. They downloaded information about connections and things to see without my asking them to.It's a budget hotel with a great location and a good breakfast. There's a place for tea and coffee all day.

Lite, men trivelig!

Centralt B&B
I had the single room just off the breakfast room and I was thoroughly pleased. Clean, roomy, light, excellent location, ample delicious continental breakfast ... and a wonderfully affordable price!
This is a very pleasant European B&B, with very friendly staff. The rooms are comfortable and small, but with en suite bathroom. The breakfat each morning and evening snacks are great!
