It was wonderful to be in the historic area of Santiago, where we could easily walk to shops and restaurants. The staff member we met was very friendly and helpful. She went out of her way to provide additional information about the area and the transportation options to the airport. Our room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend to others visiting the area.

Clean room, helpful staff, excellent location. It would have been nice to get a discount for parking.
Wonderful hotel close to the Cathedral and wonderful restaurants. Great nicely appointed room with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They pointed us to a great list of restaurants close to the hotel.

The space was tight but the bed was really comfy and the shower was great. Lots of eateries outside and a market nearby. The staff helped us get a taxi to the airport.

Best hotel in Santiago de Compostela
The best hotel experience in Galicia! José and Alba, who take care of the lobby and the guests, are professional, efficient, and caring. The hotel is centrally located in the heart of the historic downtown, where pilgrims come and go, and tourists soak up the ambiance. Make Hotel Casas Reais Boutique your home while visiting Santiago de Compostela. You will not be disappointed!
This lovely boutique hotel is within walking distance to all the best things in Santiago. The lovely balcony is a nice spot to drink coffee and watch the pilgrims come into Santiago. Bed is very comfy and the shower is high tech! Definitely take time to use the message chair in the lobby.
Super nice and in a Perfect location. Parking garage about 100m away.
Great Double windows for sound proofing (happy crowds below enjoying the town to the dawn hours).
Laundry around the corner and lots of breakfast places close by while you wait.
The room is well maintained and fitted.
Room was very clean, bright and spacious. Bathroom had all amenities including a fantastic jacuzzi.
Service was extremely friendly and helpful.
Location is excellent.
Highly recommended.
A lovely boutique small hotel. Room was spacious and airy with fabuloss balcóny. The shower is amazing (high téch). Best of all, a señf-servicie laundry next door. The staff very courteous and helpful.
Only negative is starting on Thursday evening very noisy area until 4 in the morning. As a traveler who visits Spain frequently I expect the noise, but since the weather was warm I had the windows open which resulted in an excessive amount.
This property has a wonderfully helpful staff. The one person working gave us directions to where we wanted to go and was very kind. The linens were nice and soft. The bed comfy. Be aware that the penthouse suite is not what Americans would expect. It was the attic with slanted ceilings I bumped my head on. The advertised breakfast does not start at 8:00 and there is no hot water pot or coffee in the room or hotel. The advertised café and bar were not open at all. No one was present at 8:45 a.m. to call us a taxi. It's nice but expect a low level of attention. Due to limited hours of staffing.
It’s a bit difficult to find but the man on reception was really helpful explaining where the carpark was, coming to the car to get our bags and offering to store our bikes inside. He gave us some restaurant recommendations and drew tourist attractions on the map. Brilliant.
Loved the
Proximity to the Cathedral. Our room’s electricity went out in the evening and there was no one to fix it until morning. However it was fixed promptly.
Everything was great. The only thing missing was coffee maker and electric water cooker.

Nice
Clean, convenient location. Room on 4th floor had a sloped ceiling that was not ideal for a tall person, but otherwise great place to stay. Good breakfast.
The staff at this property are excellent. Between Virginia and Cosas, we felt very pampered. They both made sure that we got time on the massage chair (very important after walking). The breakfast was excellent as well, and Virginia was amazing at remembering what we liked for breakfast each day (one week apart!!). We would go back in a heartbeat if we are in Santiago again.
The property was fine. The location was great. The space was nice and reasonably comfortable, but what really made the stay was Virginia. She was so helpful and knowledgeable about the area. It really helped us utilize the time we had effectively, and the woman makes a stellar coffee! All that aside, she was warm and made us feel totally welcome and at home.

Disliked: Amenities
We liked the massive tv and Netflix connection.
The ensuite was a bit mouldy and the fittings were cheap.
Can not recommend this hotel. First night everything was fine, but in the morning while sitting on the bed a large bug (bed bug or maybe a tic) appeared on the white comforter. I grabbed it with a tissue and it exploded blood. Totally grossed out. We found a new hotel. The owner was extremely rude to us and charged us the entire 3 night stay. We didn’t feel comfortable staying here. We thought that we should have only paid for the one night. So gross.
