I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, especially considering the reasonable price. My only suggestion would be to provide an iron for guests, which would enhance the overall experience. The staff were friendly, polite, and always ready to assist.

This hotel is a complete waste of time, confirned my booking along with hotels.com the emails from the hotel and hotels.com saying that they can't honour the booking and recommend3d another hotel which i booked, then 5 hours later emailed me saying they can honour the booking after i had booked the other hotel, they charged me and will not refund my payment, complete rip off merchants, stay well clear of this hotel shambles

This hotel was perfect good location and very friendly room was a lovely size and bed very comfortable the only thing was the shower was very small if you were bigger than a size 14 you wouldn't fit

Very reasonably priced accommodation, comfortable and in a decent location. Friendly helpful staff. The only downside was no sheets changed in a 5 day stay, would have been good to have 1 change.

Gives basic a new meaning
The room is clearly old and dingy, with chipped kitchenette cabinet, worn countertop, and 2 burner cooktop that did not heat properly. No appliances were provided, not even an electric water kettle.The window looked directly into the neighbor's window and had no curtains, so the heavy metal shade had to be kept pulled down. With no other window or ventilation that made the room dark, hot and stuffy. No fan was provided. Utensils were minimal. The photo did not represent the reality. I could not recommend this accommodation.

Location convenient to everything - bus/train stations, cafes, bakeries, supermarkets, museums. Half a block from a long pedestrian walkway. Great to be able to cook. Price is very good and staff very friendly and helpful. Only minus - Noise from other guests.

Room was well kept and clean. Unfortunately the bed was hard and the building was very noisy. I could hear every tap/ shower running and every door closing. It sounded like the hotel was very active all night, whether that was a once off the night I stayed or not, I don't know. but the place is echoey, has lots of rooms and needs dome soundproofing.

Good English spoken at reception. Room was disappointing. Very hot, no fan and very noisy outside particularly as we had to have the window open at all times. A good 40 minute walk to the central attractions and at least the same again to the beaches. The local buses are, however, very good. The room does not have enough facilities to allow you to self cater. We barely managed breakfast each morning. But the fridge with ice box was useful. There are some local bars and restaurants which were ok. Not much English spoken, as per the rest of this area of Spain, but people were very accommodating. Good wi fi. Overall I probably wouldn't book here again due to the location and the hotel facilities.

Expected more. It says they have parking available and they do, but you have to walk for about 10 min and is a public parking (Plaza de Méjico). The space, specially the bathroom is really small. Other than that it was clean, people is friendly, is a walk away from the city. It was my first experience with this type of rental as I usually go to hotels, maybe that’s the reason for my disappointment.

Great little place
Staff very friendly and let us leave bags before and after check in. Room clean, modern and perfect for few nights. Great area close to bars, shops and restaurants. Would defo recommend.

The hotel is very good for the money I paid. Very clean, comfy beds, nice staff speaking english. Bit far from the beech, but situaled near shops and cafes. I recommend staying there! Anna

Our room was very clean. The shower is very very small but apart from that everything else was cozy. The staff and customer service was ok, not rude but at the same time not friendly just civil, which is ok.

Decent budget studios in town centre with access to plenty of cafes & supermarkets. S.C. facilities are basic but u can cook a decent meal on the hop plates. No kettle so boil water in a saucepan.Rooms cleaned daily & are spotless.

Good choice for a few days
Better value than a normal hotel room, decent size with small kitchen. Bathroom a little small but it all looks quite new. Area has a lot of shops and bars, and bus stop very close. 20 minute walk to airport bus.

Not a pleasant experience in this two star hotel.
Staff have little or no English and are not enclined to assist. Room smelt of staleness and heavy industrial disinfectant. No aircon or fans in the room. Cleaning staff appeared to do their best in the circumstances. It is an old building that has been poorly refurbished. Would never stay ther again.

A great value studio hotel.
Great value accommodation. A basic hotel room with kitchen facilities included. Suitable for travellers on a limited budget as you can prepare your own meals. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The town of Santander is a lovely place to visit, with great value restaurants, beautiful walks over the hills and some wonderful beaches.

Very convenient as just off a shopping area, lots of supermarkets to buy food to cook in room. No microwave, but 2 hot plates. No electric kettle, but we took our own. Had to keep windows closed at nights as motorised street cleaner operated until 3a.m. but ok when windows closed. room very clean as was bedlinen. All receptionist very helpful as was cleaners. car park up the road, book through hotel at 10 euros for 24 hours instead of 16 euros. Shouldn't need the car as everything within walking distance, unless staying longer & wish to sight see. No.2 bus goes to beach & back. lunch time meals reasonable, but most places serve more snack type food in evening.

Nice, clean apartment
Had a very pleasant stay with Estudios Aranzazu. The apartment was basic, but had everything we needed, was very clean and serviced every day. The reception staff were all nice and the building well presented. Would definitely stay again, if in Santander.

Looked ok on arrival. Room dirty even after cleaner had been in on two occasions. Human waste coming through metal plate on floor bathroom flooding. Dishes in kitchen filthy. Terrible noise from street 24 hours .

Comfortable apartment in the city centre for 6days
I was waiting for my house to become available for me to move into and wanted an apartment so I would be able to cook for myself and not have to pay a lot for cooked food or live on takeaways. Check in took a longer time than I thought it should have but I was happy with the apartment. It was just me in the room and the double bed was very comfortable and the heating was very good, some would say too good, but it was simple to work. The shower was inconveniently shaped and quite small but the bathroom was well-lit and i had no other problems with it. The room would have been better with a hairdryer but I may have been able to request one from reception. The lighting wasn't the best in the room but not bad and the blinds blocked out the light well in the mornings. The only bad thing about sleeping there was how easy it was to hear other people in their apartments. The Aparthotel is in a great location though, not for its views but for convenience, i.e going into town or getting buses or getting food.

La estancia y atención muy buena. Todo bien, por poner alguna pega, la próxima vez que vaya, llevare la mia, no sé por qué pero no pude tomar café, por lo demás están muy bien situados a 10 min de cualquier sitio que quieras ir, sobre yodo el hospital de Valdecilla que es donde teniamos que ir y la playa a 10 min en bus que se coge alli mismo y con un montón se combinaciones. Volveremos otra vez...seguro

La acogida de la recepción fenomenal, el estudio agradable, estuve tres dia y la verdad que muy bien, centrico, autobuses al lado, se puede ir andando a muchos sitios. Lo único que como no hacen limpieza, si vas más de tres dias no se como se apaña uno. Mi experiencia muy buena.
