This property did not meet expectations and did not match the listing description. Several key details in the listing are inaccurate. The property is described as having a washer and dryer, but there is only a washing machine. No dryer is available, and no laundry detergent was provided, which made basic laundry needs inconvenient during the stay. The location description is also misleading. The listing suggests the property is at a casino and golf course, but it is not. It is a four-unit building located in the middle of a small village. While Santana itself is quiet and peaceful and about a 40-minute drive to Funchal, the description does not reflect the actual setting. The cleanliness of the unit was below standard, and the towels provided were very rough and uncomfortable. Overall, aside from liking the quiet location, the stay did not align with the listing or typical expectations for a vacation rental. Due to inaccurate information and the condition of the property, I would not recommend staying here.
