We had an amazing time staying at Umami. The grounds are beautiful and well-kept, the staff was amazing and the location was close to the beach. Also the drinks from the bar, 10/10. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Puerto Viejo!

Place was nice and clean. Right on beach. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food selection is limited especially for vegetarians. But there are lots of great restaurants on the main street in Jaco.

This place is an underappreciated gem. It lies on the banks of the Rio San Carlos with 24 individual cabins. The rooms are very spacious and nicely appointed.
