If we could give Hotel Sanctuarium more than 5 stars, we would. My partner and I arrived as guests and left feeling like family. From check-in to our reluctant departure, we were treated with incredible warmth and care. Every member of the team seemed genuinely invested in making our stay special. We highly recommend this boutique hotel, and if you’re lucky enough to discover this hidden gem, don’t hesitate to book! A special thank you to Danny and Yeraldine at the front desk, Jerry the operations manager, Kevin the concierge, and Fabiola, Jaricza and Dayana at the restaurant and bar. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made all the difference. The property is absolutely stunning and brand new, having opened in December 2025. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with flowers throughout, wildlife roams freely, and the peaceful river landing is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Costa Rica. The pool area is fantastic, featuring heated and non-heated sections, plus a wet bar that makes it easy to enjoy a drink without leaving the water. The food was outstanding. Every meal exceeded our expectations, and the cocktails and mocktails were clearly crafted with creativity and love. We came to Costa Rica hoping for adventure, relaxation, and unforgettable memories. Hotel Sanctuarium delivered all three and more. Thank you for making our trip so special.
