The hotel was nice enough and we enjoyed walking the trails to the waterfall. However, I would NOT recommend this hotel, particularly the Villa Prima Mountain View suite. We were kept awake by multiple dogs barking nearby for several hours and spoke to the front desk about the problem twice before being given a different room to sleep in. There were no fans available in the room for white noise and despite the windows being closed, we could hear sounds from outside very loudly. This was a big disruption to our stay as we were just there for one night before our flight out of San Jose. Staff were apologetic but not proactive.
We were also charged $72 for three margaritas at dinner, $10/drink for the margarita mix plus $14/drink for Don Julio tequila.

Second time staying here and it was as perfect as the first time. Excellent, safe, clean and luxurious. There is a nice little food court with food trucks nearby that was perfect for dinner!

Regarding the accommodation, we realized that the door could be opened with just a slight push, without even turning the handle, meaning anyone could enter the room even when the handle was locked.
