Free WiFi This ground floor apartment in Can Picafort is the perfect place for families who want to spend their holiday by the sea. It sleeps 6 people. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One of the rooms has two single beds, while the other two have a double bed. Both bathrooms are recently remodelled (one of them attached at the main building). In the living room there are comfy sofas where you can relax reading a book a taking a siesta. The kitchen has everything you might need during your holiday: blender, toaster, coffee machine, microwave, electric oven, vitro ceramic hob, fridge and a lot more. Of course the apartment has a washing machine, iron and ironing board. There are two furnished terraces where you will be able to enjoy the weather of the island and have a tasty barbecue. The location of the apartment is absolutely perfect, as you can walk everywhere: sand beach, restaurants and bars, pharmacy, shops, supermarkets, taxi rank, surgery, bus stop, etc. The bus frequency is every 15 minutes towards Puerto de Alcudia, Puerto de Pollença and other directions as Palma. The beach is just down the road and it is perfect for children due to its shallow waters and gentle swell. In Can Picafort you will find any kind of restaurants: fresh fish and meat, pizza, tapas and traditional Majorcan food. If you only want to have a snack, you will find bars and ice-cream shops in the promenade! You will be able to find shops, souvenirs and groceries. The 2 main supermarkets are on Artà road, where you will find petrol stations as well. Nearby Can Picafort there are other beaches that are worth to visit: Playa de Muro, Formentor, Son Serra de Marina, Puerto de Alcúdia or Puerto de Pollença. You will love to visit the town of Alcudia, with its cobbled streets, churches, squares and the old wall that surrounds the town. It is a good place to stop for a stroll and a drink in one of the bars. The local market has place on Tuesdays and Saturdays and there is a lively environment. Der Strand ist nah. Die Restaurants und Geschäfte sind um eine oder zwei Straßeecken entfernt, trotzdem ist es eher ruhig gelegen. Nur wenn es Musik am benachbarten Hotelpool gibt, wird es etwas lauter. Dort war aber selten nach 20 Uhr noch Betrieb. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Es gibt einen Toaster, eine Mikrowelle, einen Kühlschrank mit großem Gefrierfach, eine Dolce-Gusto-Maschine, eine Kaffeemaschine, einen Herd mit Backofen und einen Geschirrspüler. Außerdem gibt es ein kleines Bügeleisen und eine Waschmaschine. Der Fernseher führt alle gängigen deutschen Programme, andersprachige haben wir nicht gesucht. ##### Monika S. An der Ausstattung der Küche und den sanitären Anlagen könnte man einiges verbessern. So ganz stimmt hier leider das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis nicht so ganz. Hatten aber trotzdem einen schönen Urlaub und haben uns sonst auch im Haus wohlgefühlt. Tagsüber waren wir immer unterwegs. ##### Heidi G. ---
