Come and relax at the Santa Fe Landing. This is a beautiful two bedroom house on stilts off of the crystal clear spring fed Santa Fe River! Spring hoppers paradise miles away from Ginnie Springs and Ichetucknee. Enjoy listening to the birds and critters while you gaze over the santa fe river from the screened in patio. From the back yard you can see Wilson Springs and paddle upstream to it. All amenities of home while being deep in the Santa Fe Woods.

Do not recommend

Good location on the river but very difficult to get to and very isolated. Managers live on property and there is part of the house that others can rent so little privacy. The place was not clean at all

Did not feel safe staying at this property

We arrived at the property at night and waited for 20+ minutes to get a key only to be told that the door was open. We went inside for a few minutes and did not feel safe enough to stay there. Contacted VRBO and was told that a refund or partial refund was up the the host. The host did not respond. We ended up driving 3 hours home and lost a lot of money rather than stay at this property.

Potential fell short

The location was great but there was 3 miles of dirt road required to reach out. Property was in a good spot but land was not cared for. Property owners did not have house ready for check in on time—was about an hour late. This late check in was only exasperated due to a broken light in the living room. In addition to this broken light, were missing cabinets, a broken microwave handle, dirty silverware, a missing supply of soaps, towels, or other necessities, lack of any dining room table, etc. As can be exepected in a forest, there was an abundance of bugs that was made worse due to little land maintenance. It was unsafe for pets with numerous ticks. There were hundreds of mosquitoes, roaches in the kitchen, sliver bugs in the bathrooms, and more. It was not what we were expecting based on the listing. It could be better with some work but is currently not worth the price. However, the property manager did try to be as friendly and helpful as possible. Despite this, its not enough for us to ever stay here again.
