"We loved our stay Pink House. The location is about 10-15minutes walk to town with young children, so ideal for anyone who enjoys peace and quiet but doesn't want to be reliant on transport to get groceries or experience the local community and culture. "Service is at a very “relaxed” pace, particularly in the restaurant. I couldn’t check in until 3pm so had a couple beers at the hostel next door. Location next to the dock is \*super\* convenient, but boat is traffic is constant so can be a bit noisy. Only a couple mins walk to Stand Up Paddle Atitlan (highly recommend their sunrise tour). Room was comfortable, although mine had no door between the bed and bathroom so something to keep in mind if you’re not traveling solo! Had a great view over the lake from my room, and appreciated the Adirondack chairs outside for blinding in the sun. Hot shower was great. Sweet dogs lazing around the property."

"Our experience at Jenna's was incredible! The staff was so friendly and accommodating, while also not hovering, which I really liked. It made for a very peaceful trip. Also, we celebrated our anniversary there and they had a sweet little romance package upgrade for $50 USD which included decorating the room, a bottle of wine, chocolates, and roses. Totally worth it for the vibe! "

"Amazing villa indoors and out. Beautiful Maya tapestries adorned furniture and walls. All beds were comfortable. Kitchen was wonderfully appointed. The large dining room table was perfect for our evening card games. Outdoor patio and upper terrace, with plenty of seating, allowed for viewing the volcanoes and lake and the marvelously landscaped yard and gardens. Some in our group swam every morning in the lake. It was a 5-minute walk from the private dock to the house and was also close to the public dock which was convenient when hiring a lancha (water taxi) to the other villages. When we continued walking beyond the back of the house, the steep trail led to the upper Maya village where we enjoyed lunch at Café Sabor Cruceno with gorgeous views of the lake and the locals’ houses on the mountain. The food, cooked by graduates of the CECAP culinary school, was phenomenal and beautifully presented. (For dessert, be sure to try the chocolate plantain mole). You can also hire a tuk-tuk at the public dock to take you up to the village if you don’t want to hike up the mountain. Owners were exceptionally helpful before our arrival and during our stay when we had questions. We heartfully recommend this wonderful place."
