We had a wonderful experience. The staff was great especially the gentleman working at the valet and bell hop. They all were so friendly and helpful. We will definitly be back to stay here.
The heater in the room was broken & we reported it to the front desk. Someone went out to buy a new one. It was on in our room when we returned from dinner. Cozy & warm!
We were very pleased with our experience at this ranch. The views are awsome, very clean and the people are very helpful. About 30 minutes drive to Santa Barbara. We will come back for a longer stay.
Santa Barbara is an outdoor city with a relaxed, upmarket vibe. It's a very dog-friendly place and you’ll find many wide open spaces, green parks and several beaches where your four-legged friends are welcome.
And while you’re enjoying your break, why not give your pet a pamper, too? You'll have a good choice of pampering pet spas and pet day care, grooming salons and gourmet pet-food stores as well as bowls of water and snacks outside some of Santa Barbara’s boutiques and restaurants.
Santa Barbara offers a range of pet-friendly accommodation in budget hotels, motels and inns off State Street downtown, to more upmarket chain hotels and inns near Stearns Wharf on the waterfront.
For a luxury weekend with your pet, head to the stylish suburb of Montecito, where swanky and pet-friendly beachfront resorts are within moments of Butterfly Beach, where dogs are free to run off lead.
Santa Barbara's pet owners benefit from several dog-friendly attractions and sprawling city parks. Book a hotel near Stearns Wharf, the historic wooden pier turned entertainment and dining hub, and it's a ten-minute walk from the beachfront Chase Palm Park.
Less than two miles west from the Wharf is Shoreline Park, another popular dog-friendly park with a skate park, whale-watching area and kids' playground. While a mile further west lies Hendry's Beach, a quieter beach and the only beach in Santa Barbara where dogs are welcome to run off lead.
Pets are very much part of the family among residents in Santa Barbara. The many coffee shops, casual SoCal cafes and more upmarket bars and restaurants dotted around downtown and Montecito welcome well-behaved dogs in their gardens and terraces.
Or head to the hip district of Mesa, where you'll find many small-batch coffee shops, neighbourhood bars and restaurants, who will happily welcome your pet.
