"Cozy and comfortable hotel with a nice restaurant. Staff is very helpful and friendly, we felt welcomed and had an altogether lovely time. Breakfast was really good, with predominately local and homemade products. Lots of attention to details, both in hotel ambience and attention to guests."

"Wir (Familie mit 4 Kindern) haben eine wunderschöne Woche in diesem liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienhaus verbracht und uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist hervorragend ausgestattet und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Der Whirlpool mit den bereitgestellten Badekugeln war ein echtes Highlight und hat unseren Urlaub perfekt gemacht. "A quirky and somewhat crazy design, but ultimately a very good and conveniently located place to stay. The room was cleaned daily, and the breakfast was noticeably better than what is typical for accommodations in this price range. One particularly charming feature is the moat surrounding the building, filled with goldfish and koi, which gives the property a unique and memorable atmosphere. Overall, an enjoyable and distinctive stay."

"We had a wonderful stay at Herbert's house in Haimburg. Communication (in English) was excellent and he provided some great recommendations and booked tennis in the village for us. The housekeepers Arnold and Gitte are on hand if anything is needed. The ground floor of the house and outdoor space are fantastic, particularly the pool area and the modern and well-equipped kitchen. The upstairs is less modern, particularly the bathrooms and we really only used the ground floor and top floor showers. There is just one air-conditioning unit in the living area of the top floor and a couple of tower fans. We were blessed with incredible August weather (over 30 every day) very lucky but this did mean that the bedrooms, particularly the top floor, were very hot. We did a day-trip to Lake Bled and had a fantastic lunch followed by lake swimming in Klagunfurt - but mainly we made full use of the house in the sunshine. Thanks Herbert!"
