The room key never worked so I could only get in the room if the clerk let me in. But the clerk was nice enough to come let me in the room. The toilet flush lever was broken off so I had to open the tank and reach into the watertank to pull up the flapper valve to flush the toilet. The HVAC unit was plugged into an outlet laying on the floor with conduit into the wall. The outlet did not have a cover, so it would be possible to reach past the plug into the box and touch live wires. One bath towel and one wash cloth. No hand towels or floor mat in the bath room. Tub had many chips. Toilet paper dowell missing so toilet paper stuck on one end of the holder. No sink stopper. Ironing board holder had been ripped off the wall in one location and reinstalled in another and hanging loose by only two screws. Of course there was not an ironing board or iron, so that wasn't a factor. It was still noisy past midnight from neighbors but the ac unit produced pretty good white noise. It was a lousy stay. I would try anywhere else before returning." For our needs, it was in a great location. It was stocked with all necessary amenities: extra blankets and sheets, towels and washcloths in every bathroom, and toiletries - if you forgot something, you could probably find it. The kitchen had all the necessities.We were there in the winter. We did have an issue where the 2 front rooms were very cold and the 2 back rooms were very warm. We could never find the sweet spot. We thought there may be another heating zone and asked the host if we missed a thermostat. The host responded quickly and offered to send someone to take a look as there was only 1 zone. Since we were leaving for the day, we didn’t want anyone to come over when we weren’t there, so we made do. The folks sleeping in the front room just piled on more blankets. For the back room, we slept with the doors open or cracked.The only reason I deducted a star is due to cleanliness. On the whole, the place was clean. However, a couple of the bathtubs had not been cleaned very well and there was obvious dirt still in the tubs. In the kitchen, the dish drainer really needs to be replaced as there was residue and scum all over it. We couldn’t put clean dishes in it. Additionally, the floors were dirty. I normally wear slipper socks, but they picked up so much dirt and hair (including pet hair), in less than hour, I had to buy slippers. By the time we left, the brand new slippers looked as if I had worn them outside.
