"This was my first time staying on Fox Lake which is remote and quiet. The house is just as it's pictured. Super cute and decorated well so you feel comfortably at home. It had everything we needed in the kitchen or outside which isn't always the case when you rent a house. We had a great time and I highly recommend renting this beautiful retreat."

"Overall the stay was good. It is not the nicest hotel by any means, but we do prefer this to the others in Marshall. The only real downfall to our stay was the tub had a huge crack in it and I didn't feel real safe using it."

"Very clean and comfortable. Hot water was truly hot, bed was super comfortable, frig is the largest I've ever encountered in a motel/hotel, actual glassware (not plastic). Quiet neighborhood allowed for a good night's sleep. Parking was right outside my door which made it super convenient for carrying my stuff in."

"I was there for three nights on a trip with my 10- and 11-year-old grandsons. The breakfasts were great, as was the pool. There's enough around the Marshall area to fill the time with sightseeing, and when ready to just hang out at the hotel again, the pool more than sufficed to keep the boys happy. They said it was one of the best pools they'd ever swam in. We were on the third floor and had no problems with the elevator or vending machines. The rooms were clean, showers had good pressure, and temp control worked like I hoped it would. I would definitely stay there again."

"The check in was easy, the house was clean and ready on time. If you have small children that need a crib you will need to bring your own pack and play for sleeping. Bring your own bottled water to drink and use for coffee or cooking. The water was orange from rust/iron. The house is not on the water but near a marina and boat dock both within walking distance."
