"It was exactly what we had hoped. The private balcony right over the water, getting lulled to sleep by the sound of the ocean. The room was beautiful and very clean. They had great products in the bathroom. The bar and restaurant were lovely but we also could walk to some other local spots. We would definitely stay there again!! Thank you to the staff!!"

"We had a great stay at The Fred! The room was on the smaller side, but perfectly comfortable for a couple. The hotel has a fun, vibrant vibe with great amenities. The pool area was really nice, and the view from the terrace was beautiful—especially around sunset. The bar is spacious and conveniently located right by the pool, which made it easy to relax with a drink in hand. One of the highlights of our stay was the excellent service from Kathiria—she was friendly, helpful, and truly made us feel welcome. The location is a big plus—it’s within walking distance to several restaurants and we were able to enjoy the 4th of July celebrations without needing a car. A solid choice for a fun, social getaway in St. Croix!"

"My best friend & I took this trip to St. Croix. We had another rental booked on the north side of the island & found out we would not be able to use the beach due to sargassum (really bad and stinky seaweed) just a few days prior to leaving. We are so happy we found Miro's 2 BR apt at the last minute! It was so beautiful at the top of a mountain. We had the best of both, the rainforest & the beach just minutes away. Miro, his sister (Jerika), (his dogs) Toro and Lola were the best hosts you could ask for. We got the grand tour when we arrived! Toro and Lola are the sweetest dogs ever & protect the property so you always feel safe. Miro's place is very unique with gorgeous woodwork that he built throughout his property. We had a beautiful mountain top view with a pool & hot tub to use anytime we wanted. He served us cocktails at his bar as he told us all about his home & how he decided to move to St. Croix years ago. They made fresh smoothies with rum & brought them out to the pool where we enjoyed the view & conversation. Delicious fresh fruit straight from the trees on his property. They gave us the grand tour of the island where we stopped along the way to see the sites of St. Croix. The weather was perfect for the 5 days we were there. Miro, we can't thank you enough for your hospitality & look forward to visiting again! We hope to stay with you, if you will have us back!! "Let me first say that the pictures provided do the house some justice but seeing the property in person truly allows the quest to see how beautiful the home actually is. When my guest and I entered the home we were mesmerized by the layout and the fact that each room has its own separate gems inside which makes it hard to choose which room you actually wanted to occupy. I chose the room with the shower outside which was a wonderful choice! Taking a shower with nature surrounding me gave my spirit a sense of peace and comfort! The house is also equipped with many items that were needed during the stay! On my second day in St. Croix I went to the beach and while in the water stepped on a stone that had sea urchins on it. Needless to say I got one of the spines from the organism in my foot and thankfully was able to receive aide and help from the hosts which one was a medical professional who successfully removed it from my foot! Thank goodness for that because the spines can be poisonous and I did not want to take a trip to the hospital whole on vacation! The house was truly the highlight of the trip and the evenings spent on the patio/deck congregating with my family brought laughter, love and joy to my heart! Thanks again for sharing your beautiful property with me and my family!!! "
