🏝 Sandy Hooked 2Bed1Bath Remodelled Pine Cottage

Across the street from the infamous Sandy Hook Pier and beach on Lake Winnipeg. Perfect for vacations, beach days, ice fishing, and romantic getaways!

Open concept living room and kitchen, large butcher block island and butcher block counter tops and coffee nook, two queen beds, portable dishwasher, gas stove, gas fireplace, closets in bedrooms, newer windows, newer shingles, Pine throughout, 2 decks and a fire pit.

Kitchen is stocked with all essential cookware, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and toaster oven.

Toiletries, soaps and basic cleaning supplies are provided. Guests have access to laundry in suite!

Towels and linens provided by host. :)

Smart TV with close to 100 Blu-Ray/DVDs, sound bar and subwoofer.

Please bring your own food and shower supplies.

Blinds have been installed since photos were taken (in case you are a fan of sleeping in)!

As we run on a natural well system, guests are encouraged to bring their own drinking water. The high mineral content in the water often provides a discoloured water appearance and metallic taste.

Great Little Hideaway

We stayed at the cabin in early July and it was a very relaxing experience. The amenities were great for what we needed and nothing was absent. Communications with the owner were very prompt and helpful when we had questions before and during our stay. The cabin is right on the highway, but access to the water was a relatively easy walk or drive away.

I absolutely love this cabin! Very charming, cozy and peaceful! The only suggestion would be to replace the futon and two chairs. Very old and uncomfortable! Only the loveseat was good. I would definitely stay there again ❤️

Amazing and charming cottage

I didn't know this part of the lake, we always go to Gimli and it was an incredible experience to stay in this cabin! Just a few meters from the lake, a super charming deck, less than ten minutes from Winnipeg or Gimli beach, we enjoyed both places and also rested, made smores and enjoyed the quiet night in this beautiful property. It was a very positive experience. We had all the utensils, the environment was very renovated and beautiful, and we all felt very comfortable!

Clean and comfortable and cozy for a brief winter's stay in this small community. It is a 5 minute walk to the lake's frozen edge where neighbours had cleared the ice for a New Year's eve hockey game. In the distance were 20 ice fishing huts. The gas fire place and oven were not working at the time but there was a perfectly adequate electric heater and a toaster oven for my purposes. This was a delightful getaway retreat midwinter. My family was comfortable visiting for 2 dinners during the stay.
