Beautifully located just outside downtown Sandpoint, this classic mountain chalet offers gorgeous, sweeping views of Lake Pend Orielle and Sandpoint and the surrounding treetops. You'll also be a quick and scenic drive from the shores of Lake Pend Oreille, the slopes of Schweitzer Mountain, Silverwood Theme Park, and the heart of Sandpoint itself. Skier, hiker, or boating enthusiast, your focal point at this three-level home is the panoramic view, which you can take in from the wrap-around deck and the open great room with its two-story wall of windows. Spend your summers swimming in the lake, grilling on the deck, and basking in the comfort of central air conditioning, and your winters curled up by the crackling fire and watching movies on the flatscreen TV. There's a private laundry room to take care of your damp swimsuits or snowy ski clothes, a private hot tub to relax after a day on the slopes, a charming kitchen with every essential appliance (including a dishwasher), and a six-person dining room table with a grand view. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. The loft is the primary bedroom, offering a spacious en suite bathroom. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The lakeview chalet was a lovely home base for our trip to Sandpoint. The location honestly couldn’t be better! Close to downtown and grocery stores but still far enough away that it is quiet and private. You will not regret booking this place! View was okay, not great but as advertised except the trees had grown since the picture was taken. No ice maker but ice trays were provided. Carpet in LR had a small stain. Property mgr. responded quickly to replace the light bulbs and had the deck railing checked but did nothing to the rail by the hot tub. All in all this property is okay and a decent rental. Comfortable for 4 guests but not 5 or 6\. 3rd bedroom is in the basement and you have to go through the garage to get upstairs to the bathroom. Not happy with the price. We couldn’t use the deck, hot tub, BBQ etc the entire 3 day stay. The primary reason we chose this place was for the deck and hot tub. And the local managers were not helpful- in fact we never even spoke with anyone except the Vacasa headquarters. They refunded a portion of our money but it didn’t change the fact that our plans were ruined because of their lack of planning. ##### Heather W. The home is very cozy and very well appointed. My husband and I stayed for a week with our dog and skied at Schweitzer. The home has everything you need to feel completely comfortable. We really enjoyed the hot tub after skiing all day. The home was incredibly clean inside upon arrival which is important to us. The bed was very comfortable in the loft (did not use the one on the main floor). We would definitely recommend to anyone! ##### Heather E. Had a perfect white Christmas at the cabin. Great location with beautiful views. The cabin had a very cozy feeling with the fire going. Also great location being close to town and Schweitzer.
