We found the home immaculate, the beds comfortable and the fireplaces cozy. About 15 minutes to Butternut and 25 minutes to Great Barrington, it's remote but close to enough. The property is the perfect combination of beautiful location, peace and quiet, functionality and accessibility to anything in the Berkshires. We found it wonderful that it was a bit away from the crowds yet a short drive to everything. We didn’t use the upper floor much but found the main floor great for all our needs. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and featured picturesque views from every room. The large windows looking out on the pond in the kitchen and den are especially striking. We took out the canoe, fished from the dock, the kids swam in the pond, and we played lawn games in the big yard. It’s a very private and peaceful setting. We also visited Umpachene Falls and went to a show at Tanglewood, both easy trips. The owner was quick with communication and very friendly. We will be back! ##### John C. It’s a lovely property with a semi private pond, two kayaks and a canoe which we took advantage of. The owner and caretaker were very responsive to the minor issues that arose. We both worked intermittently and the WiFi was fine. The only issue is that it is a bit far from some of the larger towns and Tanglewood.
