"We went up to the Ozarks for a long weekend and I have to say, the cabin turned out to be the best part of the whole trip. It's a lovely place to look at, but what really won us over was how much care the owners have put into getting it ready for guests. This place is stocked with everything. And I mean everything. Want to grill? The grill is there, and so is the charcoal, and so is the lighter fluid, so you're not making a run into town for any of it. The kitchen has all the cooking supplies you need to actually cook a proper meal instead of just reheating something. The pantry isn't groceries, it's better than that, it's all the things you'd never think to pack and would hate to buy a full bottle of for one weekend. Olive oil, vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar, grilling rubs. So you bring your meat and your vegetables and everything else you need to actually season and cook it is already sitting on the shelf. There's also a washing machine and a dryer, which we didn't expect at all and ended up being so nice to have. Every single time one of us went looking for something, it was already there waiting for us. Truly, bring food and clothes and the owners have handled the rest.It was spotless when we walked in. The beds were comfortable, and the AC handled the July heat without any trouble, And then there's the setting. You're right in the middle of the national forest, it's bit's beautifully quiet, and the night sky out there is something we're still talking about."
