Sanctuary of Santa Maria in Aula Regia

The staff were brilliant -Sandro at breakfast and Maria Sara on reception, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Probably some others as well but I didn’t get the names. Would stay again.

The hotel was clearly a palazzo, retaining some grand and elegant reception rooms in which to sit. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good and varied (juice, hot drinks, fruit, cereal, bacon, eggs, meats, cheese and varied pastries). I chose a very well priced en-suite Basic single room for 1 night. It was quiet, clean, well furnished with a comfortable bed, crisp clean sheets and towels. Whilst that level of room is not luxurious, you could stay in that room for a couple of nights or more at a very good rate.
