The hotels in both of these places (for the same money!) are outstanding which made us realise HOW BAD this one was. We stayed for 2 nights and during this time we had no hot water or the housekeeping done. Appreciate Port Barton has more of a rustic charm so the price should reflect it. This was nothing more than an old outdated static caravan. Breakfast was terrible. Another table were complaining about a 70 minute delay despite ordering the night before. We didn’t have anything day 2 and were pleased to get out of there. The room was clean but needed maintenance. The shower head fell off as soon as we turned it on and the toilet seat was very loose. There is also no AC. The fan worked which was good. Luckily the owner did quickly fix the shower head for us. The screen doors also didn't fully close so bugs could fly in. It's a convenient location and a good price."
