    We have thought hard and long how best to comfort and accommodate our precious guest. We feel that we go above and beyond to make our cherished guests feel comfortable and relaxed while having an excellent time while at the cottage.

This is a lovely, updated cottage conveniently located just minutes from downtown Cambria and the ocean. It has a large, well-equipped kitchen and sits on a beautiful, double-sized lot with plenty of outdoor seating. The host, Diane, was friendly and attentive. We wouldnā€™t hesitate to stay here again!

The house is clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed sitting outside by the fire pit in the evening. It is close to town and across the street from Cambria Pines Lodge. There is also a nursery I would recommend visiting.

Lovely home that's perfect for dogs with a huge fenced in yard. House was adorable and updated with a secluded jacuzzi & sitting area right off the Master Bedroom. Property owner was attentive & responded quickly to questions. It's a very short walk to the Fireside Lounge for drinks, food, & live music with your pups. Also just a short drive to shopping & the beach. We had a great time staying here & would book again.

A perfect house for a getaway

This house was so beautiful, clean, dog friendly and had everything we needed. Great communication, amenities and very close to downtown Cambria and Hearst Castle. Canā€™t wait to book it again. Did I mention how clean it was? Just perfect!

Fantastic time at the Wine Down!

We enjoyed our stay immensely at the Wine Down. The location is perfectā€¦.close to everything. The cottage was so cozy and charming and all decked out for Christmas! Although it was raining all week, we had such a great time here and got some much needed R and R as well.

A great house in Cambria!

We loved our stay at the Wine Down Cottage in Cambria!Great house with a nice big yard for the kids to play in. A hot tub for evening relaxation. A very short drive, or longer walk down the hill into town, and a very lovely home perfect for our family of four. The hosts were also very helpful leading up to and during our stay, very responsive to any questions we had. We look forward to going back!

I will keep this very short. Awesome location for the area. Great communication with the owner at anytime before and during the stay. Really nice, comfy cottage. Perfect for two and would be very comfortable and just right for up to four people. Very dog friendly.

Amazing home in Cambria

We loved this cottage in Cambria, it was extremely clean & the backyard grill & hot tub very were nice features. The best thing about it was the kitchen; which was the best provisioned I have ever seen in a VRBO. We enjoyed cooking & hanging out while also exploring the Cambria & San Simeon. The owner was easy to communicate with; all and all a wonderful stay.

We had a great stay at this lovely home in Cambria! The location was perfectā€”centrally located and close to everything. The house itself was clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the spacious backyard and the private side yard with the jacuzziā€”such a relaxing touch.The only downside was that the outdoor furniture was quite dirty, and some was ripped which made it less enjoyable to sit outside and take in the beautiful surroundings. A quick refresh of the outdoor seating would make this place just about perfect!Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely and relaxing stay at the Wine Down Cottage. The property is beautiful and in a great central location. The house was very clean and had everything for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is stocked with all amenities needed should you choose to cook. Cambria had a few warm days so the A/C was so nice. And the Jacuzzi in the private back yard was great when it cooled down in the evening. The Cambria Pines Lodge is a few steps away across the street so we enjoyed a couple of happy hours and dinner one evening. They also do a Pizza Night on Friday evenings with live music. Diane was a great hostess and her communication was top notch! We will definitely be back to stay here in the future! Thank you!

The rental was comfortable and well appointed. The back patio was private and relaxing. We appreciated the fenced in yard area so our dog could explore safely. No problems with noise from the neighboring fire station. Would return anytime.

Favorite getaway

The town and house was perfect. The yard being gated was a great peace of mind for our kids playing outside. Any questions or conversations were replied to very fast. Very clean and beautiful. Having it so close to everything made planning our days easier and more efficient. Would definitely stay here again.
