The pension owner was very friendly and helpful. It is right in the center of the Parte Vieja. It is surrounded by restaurants and shops. Everything is near and the other sites are within walking distance. Our room is comfortable and with a spacious bathroom complete with bathroom amenities. We love the two balconies overlooking the Old town. WiFi is good. This is a pension house and not a hotel but we love the perfect location! This pension is highly recommended. The accommodations are VERY basic. No cleaning of the room while you're there, uncomfortable bed, stuffy and the walls are very thin. Our stay at Pension Balardi was fantastic! We arrived before check in time and Unai welcomed us warmly. He provided great tips about food and sights of interest and even answered questions while we were out on the town. The room was also quite comfortable and clean. The pension is located in a great part of town - near all of the tapas bars!
