It’s a ‘province hotel’ and that’s part of its charm. Very nice people at the front desk who interact and help you out. Breakfast can be skipped, there are many places around with a better value for the money on the subject. There was only a wardrobe for clothes, a drawer unit would have been a bonus. The mini bar was only a fridge and there was no in room safe. Having said that the beds were comfortable the air conditioning was welcomed in the heatwave and the bathroom had a walk-in shower. The breakfast is continental style and adequate and all the staff are friendly and willing to help. This was an equivalent of approximately $400(Cdn). It is for a single room with a double bed, that was booked about 2 months earlier. I was in Pamplona prior, with a schedule change and had contemplated coming to San Sebastián a day earlier. Via the Expedia App I could have secured tha same single room for $260(Cdn) on Sep 06\. Today I believe the room charge for a single night on Sep 08-09 would be around $190(Cdn). I stayed one night Sep 07-08\. These price variation was incredibly wide. The room is so small with a double bed.
