It’s a ‘province hotel’ and that’s part of its charm. Very nice people at the front desk who interact and help you out. There was only a wardrobe for clothes, a drawer unit would have been a bonus. The mini bar was only a fridge and there was no in room safe. Having said that the beds were comfortable the air conditioning was welcomed in the heatwave and the bathroom had a walk-in shower. The breakfast is continental style and adequate and all the staff are friendly and willing to help. This was an equivalent of approximately $400(Cdn). It is for a single room with a double bed, that was booked about 2 months earlier. I was in Pamplona prior, with a schedule change and had contemplated coming to San Sebastián a day earlier. Via the Expedia App I could have secured tha same single room for $260(Cdn) on Sep 06. Today I believe the room charge for a single night on Sep 08-09 would be around $190(Cdn). I stayed one night Sep 07-08. These price variation was incredibly wide. The room is so small with a double bed.
