Buena ubicación y buena zona. Luego las calidades, mobiliario, equipamiento todo estupendo...Es un lujo poder alojarse aunque sea por unos días en un apartamento (piso grande, vamos) tan bonito. Y aunque está en la plaza de Zurriola, y no en la Concha la distancia es tan pequeña a todo que enseguida estás. Además de ser una zona muy bonita, con el río muy cerca, y la playa también. Dos cositas, (pero por poner un pero) el sofa cama del salón es un poco malucho. Y lo de entrar a partir de las 16 horas y salir a las 11, que casi se te va un día de no estar... llegamos muy pronto y tuvimos que esperar hasta que pudimos acceder. We really enjoyed most aspects of the apartment. Lots of space and nicely appointed. Nice kitchen with the equipment to make some of our meals. The biggest negative evolved around there being no A/C. We were told that in San Sebastian you didn't need one and perhaps they are right, MOST days BUT that forces you to open the windows and then the problems begin! Life on the streets starts at 7am so that is your wake up call! Between the street cleaners / motor cycles winding up / garbage pick ups / and so many other 'signs of life' you cannot 'sleep in'! Worst of all is the guy who lives in the 5th floor apartment across the street who owns a large white dog and leaves the door to his balcony open 24-7\. At any (and all hours) the dog comes out on the balcony and barks at anything that moves......and that is EVERYTHING!! With our windows open because of no A/C, that means he is about 10 meters from us barking at the top of his lungs and that means NO sleep if he doesn't sleep, no peaceful moments to compose or reflect without the constant interruption of this hound!! And this is all day every day of the 12 days of our stay. One would think there would be a local ordinance against such a disturbance but the police occasionally patrolled on the streets and could hear what we heard. Everyone heard what we heard! Get rid of the dog OR install an A/C and close the windows, cutting out most of the noise, and the apartment's amenities would shine and Basquestay would get another star! Allen ##### Allen A. Literally a 5 - 10 min walk to old town, but there are several wonderful restaurants nearby.
