Great location with a beautiful view. The only issue we had was a scorpion in our cabin. We had someone get pinched in the foot and fortunately for us, it was not a sting. We only saw one but were worried about the possibility of more critters hanging around. We understand certain things are out of the property’s control but wanted to mention it as a cautionary note. You travel up extremely steep and narrow hills. When you arrive you don’t EVER want do that drive again so you’re basically stuck there. Big window on ground level wouldn’t lock and the screen was cut all the way around, didn’t feel safe. Pool was slimy on the bottom, it could use some serious maintenance. We were the only ones there. Very secluded. The VIEW was absolutely stunning, like nothing I’ve ever seen before. It made the stay worth while. The cabin was clean, beds were comfortable. There’s a small park for kids. Could be a romantic setting for a couple but not the best for travelling with children. ##### Alex Stayed 1 night in Feb 2025 ### 4/10 Poor #### Teena 8 Jul 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities My stay in El Salvador start off HORRIBLE. First and foremost, I want to acknowledge that the property itself is beautiful, and the views were truly stunning. However, the overall experience was deeply disappointing and not in line with the expectations set by the listing on Expedia. Upon arrival, we were assigned to a cabin that was not the one we paid for. We had booked a superior cabin, but were instead given a cheaper, less equipped one. We brought this to the attention of a staff member named Jorge, who was kind and professional throughout. Unfortunately, he had to escalate the issue to an “administrative team” who then claimed that Expedia had sent the reservation list late effectively shifting the blame rather than taking accountability. After much back and forth, we were eventually moved to the correct cabin. However, this cabin appeared to be under construction or at least not properly maintained. Major issues included: A flooding shower Non-functioning electrical outlets on the lower level Poor or non-existent Wi-Fi and air conditioning (which we understand may be affected by the remote location, but should still be clearly disclosed). There was no umbrella in the pool and it was dirty. The view was the only thing I enjoyed about this place. Still, my stay left a lot to be desired. The water heater didn’t work, the TV couldn’t be used because it didn’t have any apps installed, and there were no basic essentials like cooking oil, salt/pepper or drinking water. There was also an issue with ants, and at one point a dog wandered into the cabin (no issue with a per friendly place I just wasn’t expecting it). I was hoping to enjoy the cabin’s terrace, but construction at the cabin beside mine made it hard to relax or feel any sense of privacy. With more attention to detail and maintenance, this could be a really special place.
