"Our stay at Punta Magica was excellent. Alex is a super responsive host and so communication was also quick and easy. The villa is even better than the photos, and it was so nice having our own private little pool. It’s a short walk into the main area with restaurants and the beach, but we didn’t mind this as meant we got to see some of the surrounding area. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Puerto Escondido! "

"This place is pretty fantastic. The photos are totally accurate. I also appreciated the how helpful the host was with suggestions (scooter rental). The security guys were non-invasive and super helpful in getting taxis. The only reason this place is so cheap is due to all the development happening around it. It'll be 700 a night within a year or two. "

"The hotel was under construction. We had reserved ocean view but they originally had our room facing trees and couldn’t see the ocean view. We requested a change. There was also no electricity in my parents room which we had to complain again for a change."

"Loud noise from street, neighbor's flashing toilet sound from wall. When I arrived at the reception, the staff was on personal phone call and I needed wait for her to finish the conversation to attend me. Very disapointed."
