Detached cottage in The Colony, Sero colorado with a wide view of the azure blue Caribbean Sea. Within walking distance of the famous beaches of Baby Beach and Rodgers' Beach and 4 car minutes from Boca Grandi, the famous High Winds Bay with beach for kite- and windsurf lovers.
The cottage is complete and comfortably furnished with two double bedrooms, respectively with a king and queen bed, both equipped with a quiet split level aircon and wardrobe. Bathroom with washbasin, hot/gold water shower and bath furniture.
The living room has a dining area and a seating area with a sofa, which can be turned into a comfortable Queen-size bed. double bed. A fully equipped open kitchen with a bar and 4 burner gas cooking block. A ceiling fan and a powerful split-level aircon provides cooling without noise.
A cable television, high speed internet via fiberglass cable, Wifi, gas and hot/cold water are standard amenities.
From the living room and from the outside terrace in the front yard you look out at the ocean. The outdoor porch has a table, chairs and a hammock. Sunbeds, cool box, beach towels and wide screen snorkels can be taken to the beach.
We provide a shady place next to the house, where you can relax in a hammock.
In addition to the outdoor terrace and garden surrounding you will find a private parking (hire car recommended)

Sero Colorado, also known as The Colony, is an authentic natural area on the south-eastern tip of the island, far from major hotels and tourist hustles on the north-west side of the island. The shallow Baby Beach with a beautiful snorkel entrance to the reef is very popular and also features amenities like a beach tent with simple kitchen and bar. Rodgers' Beach is popular with the true calm seekers. On both beaches are palapa's and trees, which provide shade.
Boca Grandi is a beautiful bay with beach and a hefty surf, where it is ideal swimming for some more practiced swimmers. This bay is located at the entrance of Sero Colorado a few minutes away and if you want to surf wind or kite you will be advised here! There is a kitesurf school which offers reasonable prices for private lessons. With a little luck you will find our Aruban World Highwinds Champions!
