I reserved a room for 3 nights from this motel. My wife and her daughters were going down there to visit her terminally ill grandmother.
They checked in Thursday, and Friday went out of town to deal with the family business and preparations. When they arrived back that night they found other people in their room. Their room had been cleaned out, their stuff tossed into bags and set aside, and informed that their room was given away only 1 day into their stay. Never did the motel call either of us to let us know what was happening, they just yelled at my wife for leaving her stuff in the room (when she had a 3 day reservation)
My wife was already distraught and hearing this brought her to tears. The attendant at the front counter threatened to call the police on her if she continued to "cause a scene".She threatened my grieving, emotionally distraught wife with the police because of an egregious error on the motel's part.
At this point I was on the phone with my stepdaughter listening in on what was happening and the phone was brought up and put on speakerphone. The attendant told me that "this happens all the time" and that my wife needed to check in each day. I tried to inform her that I have a single reservation for 3 days, but she wouldn't listen to me, she continued to rudely yell at me over my talking on the speaker phone.
This is by far and away the WORST customer service incident I have ever had and neither I nor my family will ever again stay at this site.
