The dust affected my sinuses and I was sick the entire time I was there. Could not enjoy the beach or facilities. I do not blame the owner becuase she has no idea that the cleaning crew is not cleaning her condo correctly. The owner in fact was very nice and gave us information on what to expect when arriving. We had breakfast out there every morning of our stay and really enjoyed the view. We felt safe because it is a gated area and there is a person stationed in the lobby. The beach was also nice. If you want to get away from the city (San Juan) and want to enjoy the El Yunque Rain Forest, Luquillo is a good location. The bad was the apartment needs a deep cleaning. I had to wipe the blades of a couple of ceiling fans before I turned them on and we swept the floors. The vents through out the apt. were caked with dust as was the picture above the bed. I didn't do a white glove test, you could see the dirt. Only two of the four burners on the stove worked and there is no dishwasher were minor irritations. I'm sure Alvy, who was very responsive when we needed a top sheet for the bed, will get on the cleaning people. So I would not have an issue returning if staying in this area again. Luquillo is wonderful with good restaurants & shops in the area, a couple on the beach. The building is secure overly so, we walked the beach & streets at night with no problems. The apartment is fully furnished, could use some updating but is in good shape and clean. The air conditioner is quiet and works well, the bed is reasonably hard. there are 2 futons in the living room for kids. It was windy while we were there, and the wind blows through the apartment, not oppressive, but it's there, the Internet was sketchy sometimes, I think it was upstream from the apartment 'cuz we always has a good wifi signal. Me, hubby and 3 children were very comfortable in the apartment, it felt like home to us! We went to Old San Juan and park in the parking lot for $4 which suggest getting there around 12 noon or so as they get pack for quick. We also visited Farjardo beach call seven seas it about 20 minutes from the apartment and we also did the local sight seeing too, Luquillo beach, the food, (Walgreens, Wendy and supermarket is right up the street from the apartment) we had a great time!! Alvy again thank you!!! We will definitely be staying there again! Oh let me not forget the ocean view was fantastic to wake up every morning to!!! ##### Madeline B. Everything We needed was provided. Alvy condo is awesome, everything you need is there including beach chairs,umbrella and a small cooler.The view from this 17th floor condo balcony is out of this world. Very secured place with 24 hours security guard at the gate. The beach across the street is beautiful and clean. Also there is a lot of places to eat close to the condo.
