The Space: Bosque y Mar Villa is the perfect beach spot for your getaway, offering a prime location just steps from the sand in Playas del Yunque, Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. Whether you're looking to soak up the sun, take a morning stroll along the shore, or enjoy nearby adventures, this villa is the ideal base camp for a relaxing and fun-filled stay. The villa features 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, a spacious and fully equipped kitchen, and a balcony with pool views, making it a comfortable retreat after a day of beachside activities. The living room includes a flat-screen TV, and the entire unit has air conditioning for your comfort. You’ll also have access to fantastic community amenities, including two large swimming pools, tennis courts, volleyball, and basketball courts. The property includes one parking spot and offers 24/7 security for a stress-free stay. LOCATION NOTE: This property is located in a residential community where the residents are currently working towards getting the buildings painted and to repair some sidewalks. This does not affect our property’s interiors, as they are in optimum condition. We politely ask to take this into consideration before booking or leaving us a review. ACCESSIBILITY NOTE: This property is located in the community called “Playas del Yunque”, which does not legally require elevators in any buildings since they have a maximum of 3 floors. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS \- The first bedroom offers a king-sized bed, TV, A/C, a closet, and room-darkening shades for restful nights. \- The second bedroom features a bunk bed with two twin-sized beds and room-darkening shades. PLEASE NOTE: THE SECOND BEDROOM IS VERY SMALL AND DOESN'T HAVE CLOSET SPACE. PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY): We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. KITCHEN The fully equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator, freezer, stovetop, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster oven, along with counter seating for two and a dining table aside perfect for enjoying meals together. GETTING AROUND & PARKING The villa includes one (1) assigned parking spot. Renting a car is a must when staying in Rio Grande as Ubers and taxis are not readily available in this area. There are many activities within 15 minutes of driving distance and the roads are easy to navigate. LOCATION There are many things to do in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. We can help you plan a hike or participate in a zip-line adventure. Experience the glowing waters on a night kayak tour in the bioluminescent bay in Fajardo. Taste the local flavors at the staple kiosks in nearby Luquillo – right next to the beach. Go on a horseback or four-track ride off the beaten path in Carabali Rainforest Park. Play a round of golf at the Wyndham Rio Mar Golf Course or any of the neighboring nearby courses like Bahia Beach Resort & Golf Club in Rio Grande or El Conquistador Resort in Fajardo. Other Things to Note: STARTER AMENITIES At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay. All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest. We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include: \- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom) \- 3 garbage bags \- 1 roll of paper towels \- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom) \- 1 dish soap \- 1 dish sponge Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guest’s responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay. Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation. HOUSE RULES RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed. NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated. NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property. QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors. UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 4 adults/children at all times, including visitors. OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced.
