Totally Private apartment, NOT SHARED !! First Floor, handicap welcome. Cross the street and your in the Condado Lagoon (salt water) connected to ocean. Three Air Conditioning units: one in each bedroom and in the living area. Four chair table dining table (NEW) Queen size bed in master BR FULL Bed in bedroom with NEW mattress and NEW bed sheets and comforter. Sofa bed in living room that converts into full sized bed. New futon in second BR that can be used for groups of 6 or more. NEW window blinds to allow complete darkness in living room area to sleep during day time. Window blinds in bedroom for total darkness. NEW bathroom toilet and repairs have been made to tile in shower. Large kitchen with 21 cubic foot refrigerator, full sized oven and stove. The tiny shower had no hot water and was not cleaned before we arrived. Half the beds were missing sheets. A roof leak caused rainwater to drip on one of the beds and flooded the floor for two nights. The coqui frogs screamed all night at this location. It appeared that it was not clean after the previous guests had left. The place smelled like mold. The beds smelled like urine. The sheets were stained, had sand and hair. We stayed only because it was past midnight. We left early the next morning, and stayed in a hotel close by. The property manager was nice enough to refund the second day. One star for location - close to everything in San Juan. Otherwise, I would not recommend property. It smelled of bleach on arrival but not sure what had been cleaned. It was dusty and had ants on countertops. Broken tiles, dirty floors. Thank goodness the air conditioning worked! There was only one shower door, so water went everywhere with every shower. The door also did not move well in track. Bathroom also very, very small. No hot water. A mini heater attached to faucet only made shower lukewarm. Also, photo of 'second floor view' is deceiving because rental is on first floor, in back of house, with no view out of any window and no access to second floor. Nice locked carport, note that it is shared with the upstairs apartment, don't park in the middle. Very responsive owner- answered any concerns promptly! I was bummed because the place looks great, and the location and price can not be beat. The owner of the property was very attentive and responsive, and efficient in getting my full refund processed.
