There are local restaurants within walking distance. A little local grocery near by. The neighborhood felt safe to walk in even after dark. Everything was VERY clean and in order. Very comfortable. We had a little issue with figuring out the hot water, but when i reached out to the property owner, it was taken care of IMMEDIATELY. Very clean, comfortable and relaxing. The street parking was simple and always a spot. Around the corner was a bakery open 24 hrs that served breakfast, sandwiches, pastries, and local food. The location was satisfactory as you can get any typical tourist area within 20-45 mins. If you travel to other parts of island, maybe an hour to hour and a half. Overall, truly satisfied. I don't remember her name, however, the lady that provided extra towels and was our point of contact while there, was absolutely pleasant and provided phenomenal customer service. We had good ac and lighting which is connected to backup generators just in case of a power outage. Good kitchen space for meal planning. Only used the stovetop. There's a housekeeper next door if we needed anything. Somethings we noticed were that the blowdryer was the brush kind and it had hair in it from previous user. Maybe someone forgot it there. Trying to check in was a joke. We made several attempts to contact the owner to clarify the instructions and did not get a return call or text or message on the phone. Fortunately, someone was renting the unit next to us and let us in to the common area so we could get to our apartment. The palace was clean, but very sparse on cooking utensils. The shower was COLD. No instructions on how to use the AC but we eventually found the controller on the wall in the hall and figured it out. We will NOT be back ##### Susan T. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds we’re comfortable as well! The kitchen could be upgraded soon especially the stove! The living space seating is limited but was very comfortable! The bathroom is not spacious one person at a time and the hot water works but not like it would if you were at your own home or Hotel! Once we got in we felt very safe but I was concerned that it was not an additional way to exit the space in case of an emergency fire or anything like that.
