The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. There can be a little noise from voices of people staying at the adjoining space. Bed was comfortable. The futon and cot are suitable for children, but would be likely be uncomfortable for an adult. There is no outdoor space, so keep that in mind if you enjoy sitting on a porch to drink your coffee etc. There is no washer or dryer, but there is a nearby laundromat called Surf Cycle that will wash and fold your clothes for $2/lb next day pickup, or $2.50/lb same day pickup. If you like Thai food, you HAVE to try Thai Paradise. Hands down the best Thai food we have ever had. The spring rolls and chicken pineapple curry were our favorite. For a delicious meal on the beach, try Lost Pier Cafe in Laguna Beach. There is a nice playground nearby at Lantern Bay Park in Dana Point that also has a great view. ##### Mary G.
