Apartment came with living room kitchen bath and bedroom with a nice view of the river below. Parking was very convenient. Breakfast was delicious in the morning with a wonderful batado (mixed fruit smoothie) along with gallo pinto.

One of the best nights of our whole vacation was staying with Charlie and Peter! They were both extremely accomodating and the breakfast was amazing! The room was spotless and it the beverage options in the fridge were wonderful and greatly appreciated! We definitely will be back to visit!

La Terraza was an absolute delight. The staff and owners couldn’t have been more friendly, more helpful, more accommodating. We stayed in the El Rio apartment. A bit more expensive than a regular room but, OMG, so worth it!! Its large, has a beautiful view from the terrace, full kitchen, beautifully decorated. The owners, Charles and Peter, were an absolute delight. We talked through the entire breakfast and Charles even joined us one day for breakfast. The staff was also delightful. Mauricio was so friendly and so kind. He visited us one evening, with his wife, and we just chatted for about 2 hours. We saw him every day. All personnel were totally available at all times. The breakfasts were amazing. They were different each day and, wow, so delicious. Parking is free and was right in front of the apartment. I can usually find at least one negative in every place we stay but, alas (LOL), I can’t find a thing here. It was perfect. Definitely returning here on our next visit. You should too!!!

I arrived late into the evening, yet the owner welcomed me in person with a big smile while assisting me with my luggage, instantly making me feel at home while away from home. The grounds are clean, beautiful, and relaxing. The breakfast offered each day was delicious and a full course meal. The staff were friendly and very helpful, from the maintenance to the ladies prepping the morning coffee, to the driver who took me to the store and waited until I finished to bring me back.It is close to the central park area with restaurants and shopping with a very short cab ride. It is definitely a priority place for me to stay when coming to Grecia, and I can highly recommend staying here!

The property was clean and well kept. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was friendly. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay this is not it. It is located on a busy road with extremely loud traffic all day and night. Ear plugs were provided but were useless. I'm happy thay my stay was limited to one night as I require quiet enjoyment in my lodgings. Parking was also tricky and the rivers and gardens mentioned in other reviews were non existent. This property is 2 hours away from San Jose Airport so not close.

From the window that we landed, the host was carefully planning our arrival and was very attentive. She greeted us warmly, with treats, and we enjoyed a beautiful stay in a beautiful place. The breakfast was amazing and everything was perfect, no complaints.

Charles was very welcoming and the property is beautiful. It is it's own little oasis. Tranquil and relaxing, this was a great spot for us to stay before we had to head to the SJO airport. Plenty of space to lay out all our gear and get organized. Breakfast was spectacular!!! Would highly recommend! Thanks Charles and team, we appreciate your attentiveness and friendship!

Anniversary visit

Charles and his staff are very professional. They responded to our requests in a positive manner. There were a couple small mechanical problems. But, nothing major. The location and facility are great. The value for the price is very good. If visiting Grecia, we would stay there again.

Wonderful

Spacious, well maintained, super friendly staff, balcony with a gorgeous view, and an amazing breakfast! We would definitely stay there again! The kids didn't want to leave the hotel. Definitely explore the grounds over the bridge, if the gate is unlocked. Beautiful. The only feedback for improvement I have for the owner is that the toilet seat should be replaced (or maybe just tightened?) As it shifts around a lot when sitting on it. But even with that, 5 stars for sure.

I had great experience! Cozy place. First I was getting a room with many steps but as a mature woman who has knee problems I asked for broom away from street and no stairs. Room was small but enough for me! The bed wasn’t as comfortable but I am spoiled with my own mattress! The shower might need a bit more attention, perhaps using bleach to get rid of the molds on the corner or floor. I always wear shower shoes anyway so there wasn’t a problem for me. I am a clean germ freak!!! Overall I loved it and will come back again! Thanks
