Front room has no A/C but if both bedroom doors were open and the fans were turned on, it cooled down nicely. We only used the A/C when we were there during the day and we were fine. The furnishings were fine too. Neighbor hood was typical Belize with both nice and run down houses. We enjoyed our stay and there were plenty of places to eat and things to do. Everywhere we ate was very good. If you visit Belize don’t expect 5 star accommodations, the country does not have fancy hotels and restaurants, but we love visiting places to learn the culture and how the locals live. You get that and a good taste of Belize in San Elena. We loved our stay and would do it again.
