A gem in the middle of San Ignacio. Really central - few minutes to shops and the market/restaurants. Clean and large room for our family of 3 with 2 queen beds, rainforest shower, fantastic AC and smart TV. Spacious balcony with full table and chairs and hammock. Bar is a nice touch with very reasonable cocktails, beers and snacks. No breakfast or restaurant, but the Grind coffee shop downstairs is handy and they will bring your drinks up to the hotel bar/sitting area if ordering quite a bit....

Nabitunich is a one of a kind property and staying here is an experience in itself. You are surrounded by nature on this family run farm. Seeing the toucans was a huge highlight for me. I learned a lot about the plants and trees on the farm during my tour with the owner Dominic. The little hill is perfect for watching the sunset. I ate dinner there each night. It’s good home cooking. Breakfast was also great. My room was very comfortable. All the staff were extremely welcoming, kind and helpful...

Stunning setting, excellent staff & wonderful rooms that blend into the natural environment.
Breakfast was great & the main special of chicken with pineapple, cabbage & rice was so delicious (& beautifully presented).

A great hotel at a beautiful location.
The whole property is very well maintained and run efficiently with helpful and friendly staff. The restaurant is excellent and there is a variety of donja and cocktails available at the bar.
I would certainly come again.

Black Rock Lodge is one of the best eco lodges at which I have had the privilege to stay. Anywhere in the world. The staff, the food, the room - all exceptional. The lodge’s wild yet still serene ambience is a perfect base to explore the region. This is what nature-based travel is all about, and the people here are what truly make it. If you choose to stay, you are in for a treat.

A fabulous few days spent in this unique place, in such a beautiful and natural setting. The staff were amazing, our boys especially loved Isreal our guide for the cave tubing and jungle trek. The place is stunning and so well cared for. We can’t wait to return .

Tranquil little paradise in the nature! Loved the grounds and the authentic style of the rooms. Room was beautifully prepared with flower petal decoration on the bed & bathroom. Nice pool area to relax and 40 min nature trail through the trees although we didn’t see any tucans unfortunately. Shower pressure great - the best we had in Belize! Ate dinner and breakfast in the onsite restaurant - both delicious but a little on the pricey side. Turned up for breakfast one morning without...

Lovely location amongst beautiful flowering trees and exotic plants. Staff friendly and courteous; excellent service. Jacuzzi was not working in our casita and the wi-fi was sporadic but it did not matter as overall we very much enjoyed our stay.
