"Hotel was appalling, dirty rooms with mould all across ceiling in room and in bathroom. No basic amenities in room or available at all (kettle, iron, hair dryer etc). Upon arrival I was given 2 small towels for the bathroom, after day 1, the towel I used was taken when they came to “clean”. On day 2 I asked for some more towels as I’d just used the 2nd one that morning to be told no and that I was already given 2. I explained that I was given 2 however 1 has already been taken and I have 3 more...

"It was great to find out there was a street full of cafes just behind the hotel. Staff were great all around and the room was ver spacious for a good price. Only downside is that is a bit far from the main sites you will want to visit but the bus stop is just across the street from the hotel."

"It's an apartment with 3 rooms for guests. There's no receptionist. So please do call the owner before you get there or be prepared to wait outside the building till some kind stranger opens the door for you. The breakfast is good, no eggs, no juice. You can use the kitchen with basic utensils. Can travel around by bus and train. Basic toiletries are included. Overall a good and calm place to stay."

"This place was great, and Amadeo is one of the most engaging hosts I've met. The B&B is also close to the Re di Roma metro station, making getting around quite easy. A couple of things: when you arrive, there's really nothing to tell you you've arrived - the B&B is in what looks like a large apartment building, so just look at the buzzer list outside and buzz in. "The room has a private bathroom, free WiFi and AC. The B&B is hard to find, the GPS will not show you the exact spot in the map. There is free private parking. Our room was facing a busy elevated road and the traffic noise was perceptible. It was clean and it has a small fridge too."

"We had problems with hot water. Only one person could have a quick shower becouse after 1 minutte cold water started to run. We were not happy about unexpected fee for Rome city taxes. "At B&B Maestoso we were not greeted as guests, the owner is very rude. Not to mention that the WiFi doesn’t work and if it does it’s super slow. There is only one shared bathroom that was very tight and not well cleaned. Your breakfast is just a packaged croissant. I wouldn't waste my money if I were you. "
