It is an excellent location for exploring the heart of the Sikani Mountains, even by bicycle, travelling the renowned Magna Via Francigena, or fully experiencing the splendid and beneficial Cammarata Mountains, a unique place for organizing walks, excursions, trekking-bikes or picnics/barbecues with the whole family. Furthermore, just a few kilometers away you can visit the historic Hermitage of Santa Rosalia in the nearby municipality of Santo Stefano Quisquina (AG), also famous for the presence of the Andromeda Theater, built in a panoramic area. About 40 km away, you can easily reach the city of Agrigento, Italian Capital of Culture 2025, famous for its splendid Valley of the Temples. You can also reach the nearby Scala dei Turchi, located along the coast of Realmonte, a seaside town in the Agrigento province. This town boasts numerous lidos and free beaches, mostly clay-based, and boasts some of the most beautiful crystal-clear seas in Italy.
