So first off their AC is not working well even put to the lowest setting, and the ceiling fan that was swaying in an effort to keep the room cool, honestly thought it’d fall off. Be prepared for lots of little spiders and mosquitoes in your room - there’s a fumigate option on their app which is telling. The bed is actually like a rock, though I am a back sleeper and that works for me not for the rest of my company. Beyond that any type of room service you get takes around 1-2 hours even for extremely small requests and housekeeping takes 2+ hours which isn’t great if you want to use your room. To the food, honestly for the price it’s completely astonishing you can’t get a hot plate of food anywhere from the room service, buffet or their reservation only restaurant. Super happy when I got home and was able to eat some steaming hot food. That said there are some good options like 1/10 of their food hits like their fresh fruit. Tipping really doesn’t get you anywhere. Literally got the same service only - 150$ in tips. They just act more friendly and maybe give you more water during or an extra walk by asking if you want alcohol. To the beach now, beware jellyfish and sea wasps. All I can say is I can see why everyone is by the pools and the beach is practically empty. Speaking of the pools, expect a few dead floating bees but overall pretty chill. Anyway all I can think of right now wouldn’t recommend.

The most distinctive feature of this hotel is its views of Samaná Bay. Although the hotel seems somewhat old, it is well-maintained and clean. They close the pool and limit access to the elevator to the beach at 7:00 p.m., which might be a bit early for some guests.

Sobre el servicio y la limpieza del hotel no tenemos quejas. Hector, Peter, Maria, Juana, Yuri, Kelvin, Adalberto, Nicolas, Barbara y Alberto nos dieron un servicio de excelencia durante nuestraestadía. Lo único que no nos gustó fue que las barras cerraban todas a las 6pm y ya luego en la noche no habia ambiente para tu disfrutar cerca de la playa o piscina.
