The unit was clean and well stocked with towels, dishes, etc. The supplied beach toys were a nice treat and we even took the boogie boards out for a spin on the water. Biggest benefit is the proximity to the ocean. It has been minimally updated to for renting. Since it’s a downstairs unit we got a lot of noise from the upstairs tenants. Unfortunately for us the beach was not year good for kids. Mostly just a surf spot of beach volleyball place. Downtown Ocean Beach has a very large vagrant population now that made being out and about a bit uncomfortable, especially at night. ##### Wesley Z. We had everything we needed at the Beach House to get us ready for our next excursion. It is literally less than a block to walk to the ocean and the pier, so that was fun in the morning and at sunset. We didn’t spend a lot of time in Ocean Beach itself because it didn’t seem like a family destination but there are several restaurants that look fun, and the Beach House is minutes away from stores that had essentials we ended up needing. Our youngest (9) was a bit big for sleeping on the loveseat in the master bedroom and no one wanted to sleep in the living room, but otherwise we were comfortable.
