Prime location and excellent hosts
Efrain was an excellent host! He followed up shortly after I checked in to esure that we had everything we needed. If I messaged him he would responded quickly. The house was very clean and exactly as described. The area is safe and quiet. Parking on the street is easy if you do not want to park in the garage. Perfect location for a stay in San Diego! Would highly recommend this home. We will definitely be staying here again!

Perfection!
I rented this home for a week long family visit to San Diego. 3 adults and a 6 year old. The neighborhood was quiet and we were able to walk everywhere. Coffee shops down the street, Balboa Park and the Zoo. We rented a car to do the outlying things but with all this quaint little neighborhood affords you don't really need to. The owners were very attentive when asked questions and helped with a couple of challenges we have due to food allergies. A sweet little spot for anyone planning a trip to SD.

My family and I were in San Diego for vacation and decided to get a Vrbo instead of 2 separate hotel rooms. The house was easy to find. The check in was very easy as well as the check out process. We had a good time and enjoyed the peacefulness of having a house. The only downfall was the lack of water pressure when taking a shower and the house could use a very deep cleanining.

The property was as advertised in a great neighborhood and location. Garage was very nice to park off the street. At one point we needed some kitchen supplies, and the host was very responsive. We were happy with the stay!

A Jem in San Diego
Property is well situated. We were quite literally 10-15 mins from beaches, shopping, SeaWorld, etc and only a couple of blocks walking distance to Balboa Park. A really great location! The house is well appointed and tidy. There were 4 of us (husband, myself, 2 kids) and we never felt like we were tripping over each other. The couch at this place is so big and awesome- I want one for my house. Efrain and Gina are lovely hosts, and responded immediately on the few occasions we reached out with questions. I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Stay!
Property is quite nice, great location, affordable, and has basically everything you would need while on a trip! We used the kitchen quite a bit, and the full fridge / freezer and stove / oven allowed us to basically make home cooked meals and eat at / fully enjoy the property. We had our small dog too, and he was able to take care of his business on the backyard lawn (we cleaned up after him of course) and I did my morning workouts in the backyard too. We went in January, so it was cold, and all the house heaters kept the place nice and warm. If I was going to be really picky, our only complaint was the San Diego water taste! We are from Sacramento and are used to water without minerals (of course, Davis and Woodland have that mineral taste too), so we used ice cubes from the freezer to get the water cold and it was fine then. Overall, an excellent stay and lots of room for a family of 5 (2 adults + 2 kids + 1 dog). Highly recommend!

Pleasant Stay
Location couldn't be better. Host couldn't be better. Furniture and layout could be improved. Kitchen wall cabinets and microwave were installed 12" higher than normal, so reaching up for dishes or to pull a hot drink out of the micro was risky. Vertical blinds in kitchen need repair. One of the bedrooms had just a night stand, so no place to put luggage or clothes. We made do.

The property was just what my husband and 2-year-old needed. The home was clean, spacious, and child-friendly. There were waters and snacks that felt like such a nice touch. It was super close to Balboa Park and other great locations. I would definitely stay here again.

Great find!
We had an excellent stay! The house was large enough and comfy enough that we didn't mind staying in to weather Hurricane Hilary (the extra large couch and strong AC are clutch). The only "ding" is that the bathrooms are slightly outdated, but the outdoor space and other amenities make up for it!

Lovely stay
We had a great experience staying here. Check-in was easy and Efrain was a prompt and polite host. We had an issue with the AC on our first night and he sent someone out to look at it and figure out the problem in 5 minutes, which we really appreciated. The bedrooms were spacious and there were huge closets to store our stuff. We stayed with two small children and there was plenty of space in one of the bedrooms for a pack and play. We did have to bring our own as there is not one in the house. The kids liked the small backyard area and picnic table. We loved the short drive to the zoo (it would be easily walkable too). The neighborhood was nice and we liked having lots of restaurants nearby. It was nice having a garage to park our car. The complementary drinks and snacks were also much appreciated when we arrived. If I had one criticism it would be that the kitchen wasn't super well stocked. There was no baking sheet and not a lot of basic things like oil or pepper. However, altogether we had a great stay. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Great Stay cation!!
We needed a place to stay with our pets while our house was being fumigated- this worked out perfectly! The host was very communicative and check I with us before, during and after our stay. The house is in a lovely neighborhood and felt very safe. The private gated yard was a big plus with our little dog! The last day we realized we were within walking distance of many great coffee shops and restaurants, plus the zoo right around the corner!! I would recommend anyone visiting or looking for a staycation- to stay here!!

Close to everything
This rental is close to everything- such a great location. We appreciated the off street parking. The bathtubs made it convenient to give our kids baths. The check in process was very easy and the host left snacks for us as well. We would stay here again.

Good place to stay during our vacation
We enjoyed the home and its proximity to all the sites we wanted to visit in San Diego. Clean and comfortable. The only suggestion I would make to owner would be to consider supplying a couple more dishcloths and dish towels, maybe some basic kitchen supplies like aluminum foil. Overall a great stay and we would recommend to others!

Great location and cozy space
The unit has all the necessities and is quiet and comfortable. The yard is fully enclosed and spacious, great for dogs. The gate is a little tough to latch when exiting, but we managed, and everything else was fabulous.

Hillcrest Get Away
We spent the month of February in Sutra in Hillcrest. Efrain is a gracious host. We can't say enough about his hospitality. Because our stay was longer than many, we needed a few cleaning supplies during our stay. Nothing took longer than a few hours to arrive. We loved the location, just a short 10 minute walk to Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo. Sutra is located in a quiet, lovely, walk-able neighborhood. A short drive from Ralph's and Von's groceries, Trader Joe's, Penzey's and Whole Foods. Lots of good restaurants and coffee places on University, Park and Robinson. Highly recommended!

The property was in a great location, close to the freeway and many attractions, especially Balboa Park and the Zoo. The property was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The host was very good with communications about checking in and information about the property. We had a couple of small technical problems that he addressed immediately. He was extremely nice and helped to make our stay most enjoyable!

Fantastic stay in San Diego
We had a great stay at this location....in the middle of just about everything....North Park/University Park/Mission Hills/Hillcrest and of course, Balboa Park. The apartment is literally walking distance to the Zoo entrance and all the museums in the park. It was 10-15 minutes at most to Downtown, and about 45 minutes to Mission Beech ( in traffic) and 20 minutes to Hotel Del Coronado. Parking is no problem along the street. The accommodations were perfect for our family (2 adults and 8 year old child). The outdoor areas of the house are fenced and a great play area for kids. Too bad we missed the fresh mangos from the tree on site. All and all, a great stay with a great host Efrain...thank you!

Unbeatable location
This house is in such a fantastic location. We walked to several places in Hillcrest and the zoo. The beds were comfy, the space was small but very well laid out to where it seemed bigger than the square footage. I’m not sure we could have slept 6 adults, but it was a great fit for 4. We had one issue with the stove not working but it wasn’t a big deal, we let Efrain know the next morning. Loved that there was a garage. The cabinets in the kitchen are a little bit high, but I’m under 5 feet tall so everything is a little high for me and I know that isn’t something that can easily be changed. Great location, comfy place, plenty of parking spots.

4th of July family Vacation
I live in San Diego and rented this house for my family from AZ. They loved the location and the property. This house accepts pets and most families have pets! The house was clean and well kept. It was located in a great area and only 10 minutes from the beaches. The property mangers are super nice and were always willing to answer any questions. Hope to return again.

Super clean
This Two bedroom property was perfect for our two families. Each room had a big walk in closet that the kids were able to stay in, made it feel like a four bedroom! The home is super clean and had everything we needed! There were even beverages in the fridge for us and snacks on the counter. We would definitely recommend staying and would stay again.

Home away from home
Everything was fabulous. Efrain greeted us on arrival and was very friendly. The neighborhood is very nice. Easy access to the freeways make getting around to the major attractions very easy. We felt right at home. I will definitely rent again when back in San Diego .

Highly recommend the Sutra! Location is perfect, convenient access to everything. We loved the quiet residential neighborhood. Perfect for using the scooters! Parking is just as described, close, easy and very convenient. Efrain was the perfect host, always available. The internet needed to be reset, and he was there within five minutes to reset everything!
