We are deeply sorry to hear about the unfortunate incident involving your daughter's car being keyed during your stay. We don't want that to happen to any guest. We don't have cameras so, we don't know that is was a neighbor but, someone was seemingly disgruntled that you were parked on the sidewalk. Regarding the supplies, we strive to keep our home well-stocked with essentials such as toilet paper and other items. We apologize if you ran out of some things during your stay. Had we been informed, we would have been more than happy to provide additional supplies right away.

Top Gun Vacation
Close to Little Italy and to my daughter’s place. So that was nice. Farmers market and all the places to eat at were amazing. Daily runs to the pier. Some real steep hills though toward Balboa. Otherwise great location except for the noise when sitting out in the back but enjoyed watching the aircraft at the airport.

Noise
Nice location. Nice place with one major exception noise from upstairs residents ( constant squeaking/pounding footsteps, etc due to little or no insulation under/over floorboards. Airport and freeway noise was mild compared to this noise. I have lived in many two story homes; never heard noise like this before: ever. Area rugs and carpeting on upstairs floors would probably help damper the noise… it’s NOT nice to be on vacation and have to wake up to this.

Beautiful views, Great location
We had a great stay at this property. The place was a short drive to most San Diego attractions. Very peaceful quiet neighborhood with gorgeous views of the bay.

Beautiful space
Checking in was super easy and the RWAV team was very communcative. Very family friendly home, with some games for kids. Our 1.5 year old enjoyed the charades game even though the timer was missing. Clean house and enough towels and blankets for everyone. Heater did take some time to turn on, but once it was going it got cozy quickly. Planes taking off were not an issue, it wasn't any louder than turning on the A/C. Great view both day and night. Limited parking though it wasn't hard for our guests to street park. Felt very safe and comfortable.

convenient location. beautiful view
we very much enjoyed our stay here. the place was clean, updated and we loved the little instruction notes strategically placed throughout. all of questions were answered. the view was so good. enjoyed sitting on deck watching the planes come and go.

The pros: the unit is clean and spacious and the communication by the property manager is good. The cons:It is misleading to describe the view as $1 million “award winning view.” The view is of the airport runway and the noise from the planes taking off and landing is deafening when you’re outside. To avoid the noise, you have to keep the doors and windows closed at all at all times. It is especially difficult for children. Further, they don’t mention this is a first floor unit and the people upstairs were heard going back-and-forth and talking. There does not appear to be good insulation between the two floors. for what we paid, $535 a night, this was way over priced. I really would like to know who issued an award for this view… perhaps the airlines?Look we travel a lot and we were seeing this more and more: deceptive pictures and deceptive advertising. Sorry it’s the truth

Overall Great Stay
The location was great - house was clean as promised. The only negative is there are some very noisy young children upstairs who wake up quite early. I realize this can’t be helped. I have children of my own, but I did not expect that when I booked this unit and was hoping for more relaxing mornings. The owner was very responsive to all of our questions/needs and overall the stay was enjoyable.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay overall. We do have signs upstairs requesting guests be courteous of noise as to not disturb downstairs guests, but that can be tricky with kids.

Perfect vacation !
We ( 4 adults+ 1 toddler) had the best time at this place. This condo is very clean and close to everything SD has to offer. The kitchen was fully equipped and beds were very comfortable. We watched the airplanes every day and there is no noise once you close the windows. Definitely one of the cleanest airbnbs we have stayed. Would recommend to everyone!

Super comfy beds and had all the amenities and more. Withing walking distance to super fun bars and restaurants but not too kid friendly of an area. Especially when pushing a stroller on the hills. View was beautiful but hard to enjoy outside with the loud airport, trains and freeway right below.

Centrally Located Beauty
Our Family of five had a wonderful Summer vacation at this property. It is centrally located to all the attractions in San Diego. The views are breathtaking ( no exaggeration)! The check-in and check-out process was flawless and most importantly to us the cleanliness of the house was to a standard white glove inspection. The sound proof windows truly kept out the airport noise to a minimum.

Amazing!
The location is perfect, close to several attractions and easily accessible. While it is close to the airport, the sound was not a problem for us. My family enjoyed watching the planes and you really couldn't hear any noise from inside. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of linens. The pictures accurately depict the property and communication with the owner was easy. Thank you for making our first trip to San Diego so enjoyable!

4th of July getaway
The view from this rental was excellent! Our family really enjoyed the fact that we could relax on the patio and have an AMAZING view of the fireworks over the bay on the 4th! We could also see the nightly fireworks from Sea World. It’s definitely very close to the airport, but we actually enjoyed watching the planes. And the airport noise inside the house was minimal. This rental was also very centrally located to everything we had on our list of San Diego sites. Overall it worked great for our family of 5 adults and 1 teen. (My husband and I in the King bedroom, daughter and SIL in the Queen bedroom, my adult son slept on the air mattress provided, and my teen son slept on the snuggler couch)

Our was amazing!
The communication with the office made the experience run smoothly. They made sure we were comfortable and the house had everything we needed. The views were beautiful and it was nice watching the planes fly in and out of the airport. Overall an amazing experience!

Great views, centrally located
The place was perfect for our girls trip of four. We enjoyed the gorgeous views in the mornings while drinking coffee on the patio and also at night. The place is centrally located. Everything was spotless. The host was fantastic. They checked on us a couple of times and were patient with me as I learned how to book the rental property. We definitely recommend this property for a girls getaway or a family. It’s a place that would make anyone happy.

We enjoyed a two night stay at this beautiful home. The view is amazing and the house is very well maintained. Our kids enjoyed the extra games provided and we didn’t want for anything as the house is well stocked. There is some foot traffic noise from the upstairs ( they had three young children) but nothing to lose sleep over. We look forward to our next stay.

Great home that made for an amazing time in San Diego!
Located in a very good location that makes it easy to get around the city. The whole family had a great time and the house was clean and comfortable. Everyone liked hanging out on the patio watching the planes land, especially my son and father-in-law. I was concerned that house being so close to the airport would be an issue but inside the house you would never know the airport was there and it made for a great view throughout our stay. The owners were very helpful with tips on getting around the area and had a lot of good suggestions for restaurants etc that were close by. We never needed any assistance during our stay but the owners live in the same neighborhood and made themselves available before and after our stay. Overall and amazing experience that made our trip even more fun!

We loved our stay in San Diego! This location is very convenient.The apartment is adorable, super clean, and very comfortable. The view truly is gorgeous! We did not have any issues with the noise. It was also great to have a parking space. Would highly recommend!!!

Hidden Gem
We enjoyed our stay at this property. The property was immaculate and everything needed was thought of. We would book again traveling to San Diego. The noise of the airport you get use to, the airport lights at night add to the ambiance of the property. During the early evening one night of our stay the inlet was filled with sail boats, we think it was a race, that was pretty amazing to watch. It is a little difficult to navigate to because of 1-way streets near the airport but google and waze get you there. The neighborhood is old but we felt safe, we would recommend to our friends.

nice place, but noisy
This place is very nice. I arrived at 1am after a 20 hour flight and was unable to get in for an hour as i was given the wrong door code, and no one was answering their phone to resolve it until VRBO finally found and called the owner who answered...thank god. They did refund me the first night's rent for that. The main thing to be aware of though is that this house is the bottom floor of a duplex, and you can hear the people above very loudly and clearly. If you are a heavy sleeper and live in an apartment and are used to this...no problem. However, I did have a good time here overall as the place itself is nice, and I made some great friends with the people who stayed above me the second week of my stay, so hence 4 stars. I would say if you are noise sensitive, it's a 2-3 star place, if not, it's 5 star, really nice. Owner was as helpful as he could possibly be, given the door code issues and the reality of the thin ceiling.

great views for sure!
The home has large windows and an open concept which made it feel like a huge space. The view of the airport runway and ocean was very relaxing. Even though it was right next to the airport, the noise wasn't too bad at all. We traveled with our 14 month old son and he took naps and slept just fine. The beds in both rooms were VERY comfy with lots of pillows. The air conditioning in the 2nd bedroom gave off a musty smell and we notified maintenance but because we arrived on a Saturday, they didn't really get back to us until Monday. It was fine though because we ended up just not turning on the air conditioning on in that room but it just got a little hot at night. Close to Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, grocery stores, and shopping. Overall, I would definitely come back!

comfy.. close to the fun, beautiful view.
at first i was suprised being so close to airport thinking it would be annoying, but it became one of our evening rituals watching planes. the lights from Coronado were beautiful. within minutes from great vibes and food, definately worth it! we had neighbors upstairs but that didn't hinder a thing.. and when door was closed we couldn't hear a thing from outside. great home accommodations. comfy beds and thought of all the little things. thanks for a great stay@! Beautifully maintained house with a great location for those that love watching the airport flights arrive and depart throughout the day. Everything was advertised. I couldn't have been happier with the layout. Everything looked new and was decorated with great taste. The only downside - the upstairs residents are not always light steppers and could be heard while moving about most mornings and evenings. (kids playing and running hard across the floor creates a lot of bang sounds for those living below) If you want peace and quiet, this probably isn't the place you want to be though the value couldn't have been beaten.

Fabulous Home and View!
We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful apartment ... spacious layout and bright living area with fabulous view! Well equipped with all we needed for our stay. Received exceptional customer service ... had trouble with the tv when we first arrived and the owner and staff were very quick to help ... immediate help from Ian which solved the problem. I was pleasantly surprised with how quiet this home was ... since I am a light sleeper I was concerned the noise from the airport might be loud inside but it was very quiet. The back patio was very enjoyable ... beautiful sunset harbour view and fun to watch the planes take off and land. Unit was very quiet first 6 nights without a tenant upstairs ... only negative comment with renters up there the last 2 nights is that the sound of footsteps and plumbing is a little loud. Other than that, an excellent property to rent while you are in San Diego!!

Great location and View
My husband and I stayed for 17 days on the property. Any issues were resolved quickly and professionally. The property is a bit smaller than the photos show, and the area rug in the living room was very soiled and dirty looking. We felt very safe, and loved how close it was to everything. Although really walking to attractions is not possible, everything is a short drive. My only suggestion would be for us to return, please get a TV in the Master Bedroom, and get new towels...the white towels were not white but grayish and spotted.

Great Value, Clean, Amazing.
House is very well kept. Staff is wonderful, whatever you may need they are available to help. I usually stay at high end resorts, this was just as good. Close to shops, Ubers are available within 5 min all the time. Would definitley stay at this property or any "Rental with a View" properties. A++
