Hi Cody, We appreciate you staying with us! We do not have a hot tub and I did double check our amenities, we do not advertise for one. There was a big big storm that came into town while you were here, and I did go up to the condo after you explained the water came though under the door, There was a small amount that did come ,but was remediated after I put two towels down.It very rarely rains in San Diego so this was definitely an anomaly. The heavy rain that came under the door was so minimal that I hope it didn't effect your stay to much. It seemed like everyone was having a good time playing card games and drinking cold beer, even on a rainy San Diego day which was pleasant to see!

Thank you Stephanie for staying we deeply appreciate it. We strive to make all of our guest as happy and comfortable as possible. The parking is tight and I am always happy to assist with the parking. People can park large trucks and Suvs in those tandem parking spaces. Since the review I went up in the condo and looked for mold in the back bathroom. I did not see any but we made sure to tell the cleaning staff to double check the bathrooms when they are preparing for the next guest. We do keep dishwasher soap under the kitchen sink. You guys were great and we hope to host you again!

Hi Dahlia, I appreciate a thoughtful review such as yours. I would like to address your concerns/ comments below. 1. The parking situation. The parking accommodates TWO vehicles. The width of the parking is 90 inches, which converts to 7.5 feet. The average width of a car is 50-60 inches. By the time you arrived to check in, it was very late (11pm), I am assuming you were overly exhausted from the drive and had trouble parking. I did not see any damage to the house or your car so I am not sure about the damage that you are referring too. I also, during your stay was not notified of any damage. There is street parking, but since you checked in rather late on a Friday night then that could make it difficult to park in the evening at the beach. 2. The kitchen- The first situation I want to address is the pans, I personally went up to the condo to check the pans and they all seem to be in very good condition. I also want to mention that we just replaced a full set in July 2023. I know you were very irritated that the oven at the time did not work so I could understand how that could magnify the emotions towards the kitchen. The oven was not working due to a part that was installed and defective. We have since fixed the oven. I did explain that the burner part of the oven and the BBQ worked. 3. The showers- All the showers have custom granite to make the house look beautiful, and the showers are pictured in the pictures on VRBO. I checked the faucets of the showers to check the temperature , and it might have been user error because you can adjust the shower. If there ever is an issue with adjustment I am happy to have myself or someone show how to use. 4. Lastly we have checked closets/ drawers, we have made some adjustment to the extra bedding/ pillows to make more room for the guest to hang clothes. We deeply appreciate the stay and we would love to host you again!

Hi Richard, thank you so much for your feedback and review. We provide toilet paper and paper towels, but we do not provide shampoo or conditioner. We try our best to accommodate all guests staying while maintaining a eco friendly household where we minimize waste. Often times our guest do leave windows open to let the breeze of the ocean go through the condo, and it does make the screens dirty. The screens are cleaned once a week to help minimize the dust and we do our best to maintain all cleainless aspects of the condo every time a guest checks in and out. We are at the beach though and the salt air can be harsh on the exterior and interior of the building. We would love to host you again and we appreciate your stay!

HI Ashley, I am so sorry for this experience you had. We take a lot of pride in maintaining the condo considering most of the beach short term rentals are not nearly as well kept as ours. We were deeply disappointed that we were not aware of any of these issues to make your stay better. The only situation that was brought to our attention was the door handle that came off and when we asked if the rest of your stay was good-- the response from you was "Yes, everything else is good! Thank you so much!". We do our best to keep the condo very clean/dust free. Keeping the windows and doors open to let the ocean breeze in can cause the shutters to get dusty. I have made sure to note with the cleaning crew to always check the bbq area moving forward to make sure no crumbs or bbq residue is left. The front door has since been fixed as well as the shower door. We would love the opportunity to host you again, and In the future please feel free to make your host know what's going on so they could try to make your stay better. Hi jackie, I appreciate you staying. I want to bring to your attention I was never notified that that shower temperature was not working accurately. I have personally been up to the condo since your stay and addressed this issue. I did check the faucets they were all working properly, so I am not sure what you meant by that reference. This is a ocean front rental and we do our very best to maintain the property considering the ocean front maintenance this property requires. The parking accommodates two small cars or one small SUV and one small car. Parking at the beach in general is tight. We are in the most heavily trafficked beaches in California. It is important to note that parking is a bonus we offer. Thank you for staying!

Hi Inna, We have been renting successfully for over 7 years and have never had the issues we had with your family. You came 4th of July weekend. Which is a (already) very hectic weekend. This family brought there teenage kids. 4th of July in mission beach is known for all the Arizona teenagers in high school to come and underage drink. We do not tolerate that at the condo. There were over 30 kids coming in and out of the condo, drinking, throwing themselves over the balcony. Not only are they underage running wild it also became unsafe. I called VRBO and they asked me to call the police to escort you out. We called you to come down stairs to address the massive parties you kept throwing and finally agreed to keep the kids out. Having young teenage kids drink, throw food off the balconies, smoke weed, and destroy the condo is not the type of atmosphere we want to create. We want the condo to be for families who want to enjoy the beach, take care of the rental as there own, and be mindful of other people around.

Hi Seth, I appreciate you staying at the condo! The Parking can be tough if you do not back in or if you have a very large vehicle. There are many renters who find success at backing in there SUV or Sedan. I also offer additional parking a couple houses down that can fit a very large truck for an additional fee. I am sorry the Condo wasn't as clean as expected. We do have a quick turnaround time in the summer. For the future if this were to happen it would be best to contact your host immediately so I could address the issue. I understand things are not always perfect so I am happy to address any issues that may come up.
