"Room clean and staff friendly "

"The room was very clean and they even made the bed and changed the towels. This was a huge surprise since this has not happened lately even in far more expensive hotels. The only negative was that the bathroom was small but it is an old hotel and not much can be done about that. Onsite is the Waffle House restaurant. The service was fantastic, great variety and Paula provided the best service "

"The staff was great. However the building itself needs a great deal of renovation. Our sink had nail polish all over it, the front door latch was loose, the carpet was torn, the lights flickered alot, and the closet smelled like mold. Based on our room, I wouldn't be surprised if the hotel has electrical and water damage issues. I wouldn't take the elevator, the floor was peeling up and the buttons were so worn, they had no directions. The hotel is in an okay location, but based on the condition, I wouldn't recommend people staying here unless necessary. It gave motel, one night vibes. At one time this hotel was probably well maintained. These are all things the owners need to fix and are not a reflection of the staff's customer service. "

"I wasn't aware of the airport shuttle, took an expensive cab. a cruise shuttle would have been great, given the close proximity to the port. The hotel had a good bar with a wonderful bartender. "

"Rooms are older, not perfectly clean but acceptable. Water pressure was odd- the shower would turn off and on. Staff was friendly and helpful and the location made it easy to get around town. "

"Clean room, comfortable bed. Breakfast was basic needs. "

"Our stay was overall very nice. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and they brought us extra towels as requested. The only thing that I feel could’ve been improved was the TV, as it felt very outdated and clunky."

"Well. This place was interesting to say the least. When arrive we seen a homeless using the restroom, bare bottom out. The location itself was not the greatest, it was near a 7-Eleven which has multiple homeless people near it. When we got settled into the room, it didn’t look anything like the pictures. The light that was mounted on the wall was cracking. The tv was small. The bed itself, was comfy but when sitting on it and moving it creaked each time. When using the restroom, if you have long legs, your legs will hit the door as you’re sitting down which isn’t ideal. The shower was not the cleanest, we wore our crocs to take a shower. When leaving the next morning, we seen housekeeping laying on the couch by the elevators which isn’t normal practice in a hotel. At night there was some type of construction or someone working on their car (unsure) but there was a loud noise that lasted a while. The good thing was the management was very kind. They have good security systems in place, to enter the building and going up and down the elevators you have to put a code. We did not complete our stay, we left a day early, we got some money back and booked a best western nearby."

"Room was not cleaned one day. There is no parking."
