About this property
Log Casita Overlooking Pond and Waterfall near Taos, New Mexico
Once a humble chicken coop and a gathering spot for colorful local characters, Pond Casita has been lovingly transformed into a cozy, character-filled retreat surrounded by the natural beauty of the farm.
Built partially into the earth, the casita stays naturally cool through the summer and wonderfully snug during the colder months.
Inside, you’ll find a king size bed in the back bedroom separated from the living space by a curtain, a fold-out sofa in the living room area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private bathroom with a shower.
Just outside the front door, a peaceful fish pond adds to the charm, while a small enclosed backyard provides a private space to relax, read, or enjoy a quiet meal outdoors.
Two shared hot tubs and an infrared sauna are just steps away, offering the perfect place to unwind beneath the New Mexico sky.
Sleeps 4, with an additional cot available for a fifth guest (child).
Nestled on 40 acres in the beautiful San Cristobal Valley, at the edge of the Columbine-Hondo Wilderness, Taos Goji is an organic goji berry farm and eco-lodge where history, nature, and the simple pleasures of farm life come together.
Wander through the old apple orchard, explore the gardens, relax in a hammock, or spend time with our friendly farm animals. Guests are welcome to enjoy the shared hot tubs and saunas, outdoor grill, playground, and spacious open-air barn, a favorite gathering place for sunset dinners beneath the wide New Mexico sky.
Seasonal vegetables and fresh farm eggs are available when the farm is producing.
Surrounded by mountains, open skies, and extraordinary natural beauty, the farm feels wonderfully removed from the everyday, yet the town of Taos is just a 15 minute scenic drive away. Taos Ski Valley and Red River are both approximately 20 miles from the property, offering easy access to skiing, hiking, and year-round outdoor adventures.
Good to know: Life here moves at a slower pace. Nights are intentionally quiet and beautifully dark, making for exceptional stargazing. Cell service is limited in the valley, and Wi-Fi may occasionally be interrupted during storms. The fire pit may only be used with prior management approval.
Located in San Cristobal, this cabin is in the mountains and on a river. Río Grande del Norte National Monument and John Dunn Bridge are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Carson National Forest and Black Rock Hot Springs. Visit our San Cristobal travel guide
