"Breakfast was basic but satisfying. Fresh fruit, yogurt, bagels, toast, cereal. It was served in an atrium, outdoor greenhouse which was relaxing. I was 10 minutes from the beach on seaward ave. And i found a farmers market on a wednesday at the pacific view mall. I grabbed fresh fruits, and a tamale to eat on the beach! There was no swimming pool at the hotel, only a small jacuzzi however. "

"Prime beach proximity - can hear the ocean waves right from the room. Super friendly staff. Walking distance from Vons, Starbucks, Thai/Mexican food. Hallways could use some paint touch-ups but otherwise very difficult to complain. We will definitely be coming back!"

"Beautiful location. The hotel is very laid back friendly and relaxed. Theres parking in adjacent building that is covered in your room cost but that was never explained in advance. Theres a restaurant bar and beautiful patio. "

"Very friendly staff! Pet friendly. Not U-Haul or trailer friendly. I was able to park in the back and detach my U-Haul into a space and park next to it. The area is a mix of locals and surfer hippies. Plenty of food choices less than 30 seconds to walk to. COFFEE is across the main road next to Vons. About a 2-3 minute walk but worth it for the doughnuts. THE HOTEL is NOT on the beach. It is situation at the beginning of the road, so it takes about 1-2 minutes to walk down. Any pictures of the rooms with a beach front view are the apartments that are down on the beach and you will need to reserve. "
