Fantastic little hotel, super close to the main area of town and the beach - everything is walkable. Hotel grounds are beautiful, feels like a little oasis - pool was great too!!

Michelle was very busy but sweet and happy to help.This hotel is special. nice deep pool in centre. Room was small, low ceilings, inexpensive style drapes. sm fridge and safe. just a fairly small dark room. bathroom tiny but with towels and everything needed. small table and seats out front on tiny patio. the pool area is nice to meet folks and chat. loads of plants and veg around paths which basically create the beautiful surroundings that make you wanna come back!!

Perfect spot in Samara
Beautiful place, very well maintained and clean. Family run, very friendly and helpful. Watch out for the mosquitoes around the pool. Overall excellent.

My husband and I really enjoyed this hotel. The beach is a 5-minute walk at most yet you are still off of the main street so there is no street noise. The landscaping on the grounds is beautiful and we loved out private balcony. Our only feedback is that the pillows are quite large, they could have been half the height and our necks would have been a bit more comfortable. Other than that perfect stay and we will be back!

Almost everything with our stay was excellent. Only negative thing was internet kind of spotty. Sad that life has come to needing good internet sometimes. But Belvedere will be our first choice for next stay in Samara. It is excellent value.

Beautiful landscaping, nice pool close to rooms. Rooms in newer section spacious, clean, available safe for valuables and good AC. Monkeys behind the property were a nice attraction too!

Pride of Ownership
We stayed two nights in Samara while we planned the next stage of our vacation. The Hotel provded a beautiful jungle setting just blocks from restaurants and commercial services. We relaxed in the pool while we watched monkeys playing in the canopy. The hotel has two sections: the original hotel with reception and the breakfast room and a newer section just 100 meters up the road set in the jungle. Each section has a pool. Fresh flowers and modern rooms made this hotel a welcome retreat.

Superb tropical stay
We have an absolutely great stay at Belvedere that is only 5 min walk to superb sandy beach. It's a supper clean with nice friendly staff. We have enjoyed breakfast in the hotel with gorgeous view for a fair price.

The property has two lovely pools, very close to the main road with all the shops and restaurants, but still somewhat secluded and quiet. German owners are very nice and gave us lots of recommendations, from laundry to post office to restaurants. Free parking on site. Lots of nice trees around, they even have their own gardener. AC worked great, Internet is strong and reliable. Will definitely stay again.

A small piece of paradise
Absolutely wonderful small hotel. Beautiful grounds, perfect little pool and a hammock in the shade. We loved it and hope to stay again soon. The town of Samara has been our favorite place yet.

My choice for the place to stay in Playa Samara
Hotel Belvedere is a clean and comfortable place to stay in Samara. For the eight days in mid-March that I stayed here, the high temps were in the high 90s, so the fact that it had AIR CONDITIONING made me very happy. Mattress and pillows were good, room had a safe and a small refrigerator. There are two pools. The owners are German, constantly working to make the place just right. Breakfast ($10) was great. Eggs, meat, toast, yoghurt, coffee, juice, and an abundance of beautiful fresh fruit. At breakfast it was clear that many of the guests were German as well. The owners even moved my suitcase to my new hotel when my reservation was over. If I were to be in Samara again (doubtful, too hot for me) this would be my first choice for a place to stay. But I am older, and like to be comfortable. Did I mention the wifi?

Excellent for the price!
This is an excellent hotel for its price! It is a little further from town (4 minute walk), which means it's nice and quiet at night, but can be hard to reach a restaurant if it's pouring out. Breakfast is $10, and has a good spread of options, from pancakes, to cooked meat and scrambled eggs, to toast, cereal, yoghurt and fruit. Overall, would definitely stay again.

The hotel is in a good location not far from the beach and main street. It is meticulously maintained with great attention to detail. Our room was everything we could have asked for. Although the hotel itself is fantastic, the best part is the staff - extremely accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. Thank you for your help with our passport issue.

Great hotel in a great town
Had a great stay. Unfortunately it was for only one night. Front desk clerk was amazing. There are 2 separate buildings with their own pool. Also a jacuzzi at the first set of rooms where the reception is located. Breakfast offered at the hotel but we chose to eat in town on our way out. The beach is only a 5-10 minute walk away. Clean good size rooms (petals on the bed!), beautiful gardens, lounge area with honor mini har. The price was very reasonable for the great value. Loved the town of Samara.

Spent only one night as this was our departure hotel to the airport. Room was good sized and clean. Hotel is large with attached restaurant. Pool is enormous and really clean, the grounds are very pretty and well kept. Pretty basic breakfast included, eggs, fruit, nothing special , but filling. The location is perfect for leaving as it is on the highway to the airport. Close to American style fast food, if you like that. Easy to catch a cab across the street in front of the Pali grocery at a cheaper price than the hotel.

This is our 3rd trip to Samara and we just loved the Hotel Belvedere! Beautiful and well kept grounds, lots of room space, the staff was very friendly and just a short walk to downtown Samara. We also loved how quiet the area was even though it was just a few short steps from the main road. Highly recommend!

Nice hotel close to town.
We got the last room in the new building. Would have preferred to stay in the original. We didn't like sitting on the balcony with neighbors right next to us. Otherwise everything was fine.
